We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Logistics Manager located at Robins AFB, GA. This position will provide logistics support to the F-15 Division and the Sustainment Branch of the Saudi Program Office at Robins AFB. The F-15 Division is responsible for management and professional services, engineering and technical services, and studies, analyses and evaluations to accomplish the unit's mission to design, develop, integrate, test, produce, deploy, modernize, sustain and support U.S. and FMS F-15 fighter aircraft weapon systems and subsystems.

The ideal candidate shall apply knowledge and experience in acquisition logistics philosophy, policies and procedures to USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles, while supporting the coordination of all logistics elements (including but not limited to spares, SE, training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning) to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the F-15 Division's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:

Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Science (MS)) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
OR, 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 8 of which must be in the DoD.
Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface).
MUST possess and maintain and active secret clearance
Transportation experience preferred.

May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.

What Logistics contributes to Cardinal Health

The Logistics Systems Team emphasizes a partnership with internal and external customers to enable operations processes within Cardinal Health systems. This position provides support to our medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, replenishment, and distribution centers by aligning data and technology solutions to optimize the value of the warehouse and transportation processes for the Cardinal Health Supply Chain.

This role will be responsible for supporting the design and maintenance of transportation systems, testing and implementing design solutions, managing process and system improvement projects, and support the creation and delivery of training material. The position will work across multi-functional teams, such as IT support for ERP, Warehouse and Transportation systems, logistics operations, and warehousing and distribution operations. The position is a vital role in integrating Cardinal systems as we streamline forecasting, planning, optimization, execution, visibility, freight payments and data management.

Accountabilities

* Identifies design changes to systems and processes where beneficial or required to support operations.
* Uses project management techniques to facilitate task, resource, and timeline management with stakeholders.
* Analyze and aggregate data for cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
* Monitors key performance indicators to support future capabilities and process implementation on Logistics applications.
* Has expertise in order flow, shipment execution and in-transit visibility through the supply chain.
* Leverages technical skillset to leverage relative applications (ERP, TMS, WM, Visibility and Dashboards).
* Is accountable to understanding process for maintaining applications for Logistics, such as preparing/loading contracts and rates, setting up carriers to provide systematic communication, and maintenance of customer and shipper locations.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in related field with a concentration in Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Management Information Systems preferred, or equivalent work experience
* Advanced Degree in related field preferred
* 7+ years' experience working with supply chain operations, transportation management systems or associated technologies preferred
