The Role We Want You For
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout. Provide leadership, technical direction, and deliver the best solutions on design-build projects valued anywhere from a $60 million to over $250 million. At Clayco, a Senior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with preconstruction, buying out contracts, and managing the project from start to finish.
The Specifics of the Role
Build client and subcontractor relationships.
Team with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage a design schedule.
Establish project forecasts and budgets.
Manage costs.
Accept full responsibility for project execution.
Mentor and develop project management staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
10-15 years of experience managing construction projects ($50+ million) ideally design-build.
Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
Previous experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
Previous experience leading a successful project management team.
Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.
Ability to lift objects at least 50 lbs.
