Track important SEO & GEO metrics including organic traffic, conversion rates and time spent on page. Develop and execute successful SEO / GEO strategies and recommend fixes. Follow relevant trends and stay up-to-date with new tools and practices (especially as it relates to AI impact on search).
Test, measure, analyze, and optimize the performance of search, social, content to display across conversion funnels to boost customer engagement and conversions.
Work closely with business teams and maintain relationships with businesses through regularly scheduled meetings to go through reports and provide actionable insights.
Report on performance metrics comparing them to our goals and benchmarking data - be able to tie back to pipeline opportunities and ROI.
Have a strong knowledge of SEO / GEO and are certified or experts in using programs like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, BrightEdge, email marketing tools, Looker Studio, Hotjar, and more.
Strong CRM experience, preferably in Salesforce. Pulling reports, creating dashboards, and lead nurture / lead scoring knowledge is preferred.

Research digital marketing trends (PPC/PPL advertising, email marketing best practices, ABM, for example), and how they can relate to company goals.

**THE POSITION**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Sr. Marketing Event Manager** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing event programs, coordinating and collaborating with various teams, solving complex problems, managing change and effectively communicating with stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to join and support a fast-moving customer marketing function within Honeywell's Building Automation business.
You will report directly to our **Marketing Director** and you'll work out one of our **BA Strategic Locations** on a **hybrid** work schedule.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Manage and execute large-scale internal and customer-facing events in both live and virtual settings. This includes project management, sourcing, contract negotiations, budget management, registration, and various meeting logistics.
+ Own and execute on Tier 1 category events and events in US including Presidents club
+ Support acquisition branding integration for such things as event materials and marketing materials,
+ Ensure that event closure activities, such as documentation, lessons learned and stakeholder transition, are appropriately executed.
+ Work with various customer marketing leaders to ensure that all event stakeholders are aligned on goals, timelines, expectations and responsibilities.
+ Utilize data to support overall event marketing strategies including ROI and campaign effectiveness.
+ Coordinate with customer marketing, finance and leadership teams to explore opportunities and improve processes.
+ Build out customer marketing solutions that will improve processes and automate reports more efficiently.
+ Monitor and track process adoptions for the events and procurement team.
+ Effectively communicate process changes, optimization features of new tools and outline expectations of adoption.
+ Transform standard marketing operations processes to drive efficiency and productivity
+ Experience working with planning tools (i.e., budget tracking, project timeline, logistics and deliverables schedules, event specs, meeting agendas, and notes, etc.)
+ Travel required ~30%.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Minimum of five years working experience in event planning.
+ Two years' experience in change management and process improvement.
+ Excellent project management skills.
+ Strong English skills (written and verbal).

**PAY TRANSPARENCY**
The annual base salary range for this position in **Connecticut** and **Minnesota** is $142,000 - $178,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. The Manager of Communications and Marketing leads MVECs communications, marketing, and community engagement by driving strategic initiatives, overseeing editorial and media relations, supervising the communications team, and fostering strong member and public relationships to enhance visibility, trust, and satisfaction, while measuring impact to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with the cooperatives mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.
The Supervisory Team is empowered to successfully lead MVECs day-to-day operations. The Supervisory Team spends most time on operational tasks, are subject matter experts for their areas and suggest whats and develop and implement hows. Leading by example, the Supervisory Teams focus is to:
Empower and retain successful Team Members ensuring cooperative objectives are met. They effectively establish priorities, develop processes, and manage resources.
Help review and maintain accurate cooperative policies and procedures to follow.
Be responsible to proactively resolve issues and implement programs to further MVECs strategy.
Be responsible to recruit, onboard, train, coach, evaluate performance and provide disciplinary action of direct reports, including decisions related to reward, transfer, suspension, promotion, or any commendation-related action.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess cooperative needs to establish priorities for major initiatives and develop communication and marketing strategies that align with MVEC goals.

Oversee design, production, and distribution of internal and external communications content across all channels, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely delivery.
Collaborate with all departments to address the cooperatives communication needs.
Manage public relations, media outreach, crisis communication (including power outages), and reputation management to strengthen trust, enhance credibility, and drive greater member satisfaction.
Lead outreach initiatives that strengthen ties with members and general public, fostering positive relationships and cooperative visibility.
Through events, programs, and proactive community involvement, build support and strengthen the cooperatives role as a trusted energy partner, enhancing its presence within the communities it serves.
Develops and manages departmental budget, ensuring alignment with cooperative initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business or related field
8 years of related work experience
4 years managerial or supervisory experience
Ability to manage complex communications and public relations functions
Capability to strategically engage target audiences
Effectively prioritize multiple projects while ensuring accuracy, quality, and attention to detail under minimal supervision
Proficient in personal computers and current business software, with the ability to adapt to and implement evolving industry technologies
