We're now looking for a senior leader to help drive growth, deepen engagement, and evolve the product into a category-defining wellness platform. About the Role You'll oversee the development and ongoing performance of our React Native mobile app, web frontend (React / Next.js), and backend api (Node / NestJS), ensuring seamless content delivery and an engaging user experience. You'll work cross-functionally with product, design, and content teams to bring new features to life, manage infrastructure, and ensure platform stability and scalability. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who is excited about wellness, community, and the power of great content to create meaningful change. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of our mobile app (React Native) and web platform (React/Next.js) and backend (Node / NestJS) . Oversee devops utilizing AWS services (Beanstalk, Batch, EC2, RDS, Cloudwatch, EventBridge, Terraform) Design and manage systems for our personalization algorithm and daily content publishing, including streaming audio/video and written content. Own and evolve the personalization algorithm over time. Assess AI tools and how these can be integrated to build a highly personalized experience. Concept and build new products that enhance the user experience, such as habit tracking, ticketing, community, and live event experiences. Build and optimize infrastructure using Firebase Authentication, Contentful, AWS, as well as managing third-party integrations. Identify and evolve the products while selecting and building the ideal technical stack. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap and user experience. Implement and uphold best practices in code quality, security, testing, and deployment workflows. Manage CI/CD pipelines, mobile app release cycles, and platform monitoring. Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on engineering experience with deep expertise in React Native for mobile development. Strong front-end web development skills using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong grasp of performance optimization, native integrations, and cross-platform challenges. Demonstrated experience with content delivery systems-especially for audio, video, and dynamic daily updates. Familiarity with Firebase, headless CMSs, and third-party analytics or payment tools. Ability to thrive in a lean, collaborative, early-stage environment. Mission-driven, with a strong interest in wellness, mental health, or self-development.
