We are seeking a Senior Subcontract/Procurement Manager to oversee subcontracting and purchasing operations. In coordination with AEVEX's leadership team this candidate will be responsible for conducting an analysis of existing subcontracting and purchasing organizations, personnel, and processes, gather forecasting data from internal teams, and facilitate the design and stand up of a compliant Purchasing/Subcontracting organization to support our growing customer base.

This candidate must be an energetic, motivated self-starter with proven leadership skills. Candidate must have knowledge of the entire procurement cycle in the Federal contracting arena.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Subject Matter Expert knowledge of compliant procurement rules for Federal contractors with Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSRs) Working closely with the program and finance leadership to drive all aspects of major subcontract and procurement execution (cost, schedule, technical, quality) and full integration of the subcontract work scope within the program, e.g., proposals, negotiations, contract execution, etc. Strong negotiations skills and experience with legal terms and conditions Proven management and leadership skills including budgeting and team building Build rapport and develop relationships with team members at all levels within AEVEX Ability to work with geographically diverse teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of required skill sets for material buyers and subcontract administrators Compilation of findings into meaningful reports with actionable goals including Identification of roles & responsibilities for buyers, subcontract administrators Evaluation of current staff and identification of gaps or overlaps Advise executive leaders on strategy, timing, and implementation of new teams and/or systems Some travel may be required Due to the classified and sensitive nature of our work, US Citizenship is a requirement


Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's Degree, MBA or graduate degree preferred 10+ years' management experience of a similar department in the DoD/Federal contracting (industry or Government civil servant) and/or positions in commercial organization with equivalent experience International experience a plus

The Procurement Manager oversees the implementation of purchasing and procurement contracts for products and services, develops strong supplier relationships, and assesses the performance of key suppliers and spend categories to develop business improvement plans that deliver sustainable value to the organization. This role also supports the business in developing a consistent approach to ensure the ongoing development of standards, purchasing policies, and guidelines to enable more effective decision-making and cost-effective purchasing in the field as we are a highly decentralized organization.

Your focus area will be Information Technology, which could range from supporting Information Technology partners to vendor relationships, including software, hardware, and technology solutions and management.
Responsibilities:


Solve business problems and enable cost savings through a holistic focus on relevant levers, including leveraging technology, improving processes, challenging the status quo, evaluating substitutes alternatives, identifying, and optimizing work performed in-house vs. through a third party Identify, source, negotiate, and implement sourcing and procurement cost-saving opportunities resulting in significant savings to the company across multiple categories of spend Review, draft and negotiate a range of commercial contracts Own the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process for the business and is accountable to drive supplier management for key suppliers in his/her area of responsibility Develop and support initiatives to provide consistency and standards; leverage supplier relationships across the enterprise, and drive down total costs Work with key business partners to develop sourcing and procurement plans that align to business needs while adapting to changing market conditions Establish and communicate purchasing policies and guidelines that effectively balance administrative burden, cost savings, and risk/liability Act as a strategic partner with stakeholders to support their business objectives Work collaboratively as a team player to learn, share best practices, and support to maintain focus on the collective team's EBITDA and cost savings objectives



What we're looking for:


Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related. Demonstrated analytical expertise with problem-solving skills that led to quantifiable financial impact. 5-10 years of direct procurement experience and knowledge of the relevant indirect sourcing categories. Strong knowledge of the drivers of EBITDA, procurement principles, and RFQ/RFP/RFI processes. Negotiation skills

Experience with negotiation processes, a strong ability to solve business problems, and drive significant quantifiable improvements are preferred Strong technical knowledge of and experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, including but not limited to, consulting agreements and temporary service contracts Self-starter with the ability to develop and evolve objectives with minimal oversight, including strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and hit key milestones Strong leadership skills, great drive for results, and a passion to make a difference Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills to become a trusted ally and partner of key senior stakeholders, as well as develop strong supplier relationships Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities to meet the expectations of internal customers Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with an enterprise financial system - Oracle Financials experience a plus Ability to adapt to custom-developed corporate purchase contracts and licensing agreements with modified terms and conditions Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

In coordination/collaboration with the function owners, the Sr. Sourcing Manager, will be responsible for leading/managing the strategic sourcing of several goods and services in support of TelevisaUnivision's sourcing needs.This position requires excellent internal customer service abilities and executive communication skills as the Sr. Manager will be responsible for interfacing with senior executives on a regular basis. This person will also recommend and set procurement strategies/priorities along with other Sourcing and Procurement leaders, in support of TelevisaUnivision's Sourcing and Procurement Strategic Plan.

ABOUT YOU:The Sr. Manager is also accountable for providing operational support and thought leadership on procurement/sourcing strategies regarding supply chain, process and infrastructure improvements. This position will ensure consistency in approach and quality and depth of analysis during the procurement/sourcing process.
