On a typical day your activities could include the following:

Driving product and proposition development, pricing, retention, service, communication and product management across HSBC. Developing and championing existing products, ensuring that they are competitive and meet the needs of the clients Leading product and brands team across HSBC. We are seeking an experienced Product Leader to help drive and execute our wholesale lending transformation technology strategy across platforms and businesses, In this role you will lead a team of Product Managers who work closely with our client facing business lines, underwriting, risk management, operations, and technology. You will constantly balance the immediate needs of the franchise with the ultimate goals of our strategic architecture and overall enterprise strategy. You will act as a product owner, responsible for the full execution of your initiatives, from identification, through design, acceptance, and implementation. You will seek to reduce ongoing development in legacy applications while driving solutions for the strategic end state.

This role requires close coordination and a significant understanding of the credit Risk and lending processes changing regulatory landscape, policy implications, and data remediation concerns. You will create presentations and plans which express the strategy and progress for regulators, senior leadership, and the user community. You will be responsible for ensuring that your execution strategy meets the ongoing obligations of the firm while enabling Citi to meet the objectives of the future state.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead several large programs to help drive the execution of the implementation of our strategic wholesale credit platform and end to end lending infrastructure. Direct and connect strategic initiatives for Wholesale Lending, working across business lines and functional areas to achieve business and regulatory obligations. Differentiate between required and resolvable process or feature conflicts to achieve efficient and centralized solutions. Drive the strategic goals of the program, and work with the user community and stakeholders to balance short term goals and strategic objectives. Own and manage projects from ideation through implementation, engaging users, technologists, and management consistently. Develop a significant understanding of the legacy platforms, assess their capabilities and determine the tactical solutions required to achieve the target state. Follow and drive solutions in line with internal policy, industry and regulatory developments. Maintain provide the appropriate levels of transparency and communication with Sr. Management, users, functional support and technologists, including regular governance meetings with stakeholders and leadership.


Business Role Requirements:

At least 10 years of Product Management, Business Analysis, or In-Business wholesale lending experience for a financial or other regulated institution Experience in wholesale credit from a banking, product management, Risk Management, or Operational capacity. Strong knowledge of loans and credit enhancement products. History of partnering closely with engineering, operations, and/or risk to drive change in an organization Experience in executing major strategic projects or software implementations for a large organization Experience in defining controls or implementing policy changes Strong written and verbal communication skills. BA/BS required. MBA/MS preferred
