The Senior Supply Chain Analyst reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager. Primary function is to plan and allocate materials in a continuous improvement culture to provide timely delivery to customers with minimal inventory investment. This role is a new role added for business unit 8100 to support material flow and delivery assurance on weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) shift. The mission of this role will be to ensure a smooth "week to weekend transition" for critical material and part flow for all business unit parts. It will also include filling in, as needed, for weekend supervisory duties in the absence of the business unit weekend supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Typical duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Driving detail-level execution to weekend plan for critical part / process movement and deliveries (raw material receipts / inducts, flow in North Berwick in/out of cell, vendor assist receipt / delivery tracking, and delivery to pack/mods).
Accurately updating part trackers / line of balance delivery tools for key products and parts.
Following shared resource weekend prioritization and flow to / from these areas (inspection, layout, shared services).
Maintaining strong communication to materials manager and cell leadership of deviations to plan, and recovery steps taken to prevent gaps.
Utilizing SAP to track part movement, inventory, and deliveries.
Assisting with technical SAP delivery execution challenges / needs (examples include allocation, shortages, horizon issues) alongside BU working leads/SFCs.
Participate in Friday BU start up and afternoon turnover meetings, and critical parts call CEPAP).
Represent the BU for weekend gemba to cover quality/shared services/vendor assist needs to match weekend plan and present out CEPAP delivery updates.
