Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in the Aerospace industry. Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field required. Must be proficient in both 3D and 2D CAD, SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred. Experience with Aerospace structural design and analysis, including knowledge of finite element method. Experience providing technical support within a manufacturing facility. Strong ability to support multiple projects simultaneously. Product data management (PDM) experience is a plus. The Weld Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for establishing and implementing the most cost-efficient methods for production. DESE Research is seeking talented and driven Manufacturing Engineers to support a rapidly growing space thruster manufacturing line in Huntsville, AL. These thrusters will play a critical role in spacecraft control on orbit and during lunar landings. As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of thruster hardware manufacturing processes.
