Primarily Kubota, John Deere, Volvo & Ford. Provide application engineering support to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) engine customers, including documentation of critical customer application information. Develop new product designs, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, schematics, and other technical information as part of the product development process. Establish specifications and criteria for purchased components to facilitate the procurement process, including review of periodic substitution and/or alternative sourcing requests. Provide support to the production and quality teams during the manufacturing and testing processes. Provide timely and effective customer technical support and process new application project requests. Identify root cause & corrective action(s) for design-related engine/product performance issues. Define product test requirements and support testing and validation activities. What You’ll Need: B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related engineering field. 2+ years of previous engineering experience performing design, analysis, and testing work. Experience with Creo (preferred) or other 3D modeling software. Ability to read schematics and drawings. Demonstrated successful project management experience. Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to work hands-on (independently and as part of the team) to discover and implement solutions. Job Description Based on supplied and developed engineering detail; perform calculations, draft CAD drawings and transfer engineering data to aid field staff and craft to make required equipment modifications/install new equipment. Develop RFI's, FCO's, Schedule, and communicate necessary information to client, field craft, subcontractors, and vendors as necessary. Market served is heavy industrial construction. Equipment or materials typically encountered include but are not limited to pressure vessels, piping systems or structural steel. Responsibilities: Mobilize to site and work from temporary facilities for protracted periods of time to ensure expected results. Manages his/her day-to-day assignment for timely task completion. Incorporate safety and environmental responsibility into daily personal actions. Develop Requests for Information, Field Change Orders, and their logs as directed by the Site PM.
