SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for executing the merchandising needs of the company by merchandising products in clubs, grocery and other high volume off premise accounts.
MAIN TASKS/JOB DUTIES/GOALS:
Reports to Area Manager
Stock beer to the shelves
Rotate beer stock, face shelves, spin labels, straightening packages in customer accounts
Maintain appropriate product levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts
Build and maintain displays in compliance with company and customer standards
Place/install promotional material in accounts
Transport, replace, and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for account
Assist in daily upkeep of POS in the warehouse
Complete daily paperwork related to merchandising work
Consistently/continuously provide excellent customer service through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow up
Assist delivery drivers in occasionally collecting payment
Maintain a valid Virginia driver's license at all times
Track mileage according to company reimbursement policy
Other tasks as directed by manager/supervisor

This position includes stocking and arranging the product displays, including grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery, in home improvement centers of Lowe's, Home Depot's and WalMart stores.

Job Overview
The Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist is critical support to the POD Model in the One Tier Sales Strategy in a flexible, 24/7 operation. The need for this role is heightened by the Future of Operations move of Dollar General and some independent groceries from Small Store to the Large Store channel. The Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist will provide vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and Merchandiser, may be the first call point for late PM/early AM weekends ensuring proper route coverage, and acting as liaison between the customer, merchandiser and driver for order refusals, and inventory overload. The BAM Specialist may execute weekend operational plans with minimal and additional influence on changes to the strategy. The BAM Specialist will keep the DSM apprised as appropriate.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Fills, merchandise, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs. Provides vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and POD Merchandiser.
* Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes and generates sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency for each customer to ensure the day-to-day success of the operation and directly contribute to the financial performance of the company in terms of revenue, volume, and gross profit.
* Executes applicable promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial plans to ensure excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned customers.
* Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out of date product to the branch.
* Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelves where permitted. Rotates product. Fills and merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; checks vendor to ensure proper operation.
* Fosters business relationship with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussion.
* Identifies and communicates any competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business (i.e., pricing, new packaging, change in business strategy, etc.) and executes all job duties in a safe working manner.

Overview
The Merchandiser II is responsible for performing merchandising activities and constructing displays of SGWS products in key retail accounts as requested by Sales Team or retail customers. Primary Responsibilities
* Responsible for building and maintaining merchandising/display materials for all products
* Position merchandise and create a customer-ready selling floor
* Participate in ensuring store appearance and merchandise displays are in line with plans, selling history and new receipts
* Consults with buyers, marketing, and sellers product positioning and presentation plans
* Responsible for placing product orders on behalf of the Sales Rep
* Responsible for servicing local stores and refilling existing displays of products to keep company products fully stocked on the shelves
* Create and coordinates the visual presentation of merchandise, including store layout and exhibits
* Distribute and install refund offer, neck hangers, shelf-talkers, and price signs on products sold by the Company
* Fill cold box and warm shelves at client account with products sold by the Company
* Refill and re-merchandise existing displays of product sold by the Company
* Assemble, install and fill all types of display racks
* Pick up and deliver special orders, mail, and merchandise
* Perform sales support functions to include the use of current point of sale marketing materials, oversight of the shelf space in the chain territory manager's accounts, consistent communication with the representative regarding changes in buyer preferences and or out of stock inventory concerns/situations encountered during weekend hours
* Reset alcoholic beverages at the store level (e.g., rearranging products using an authorized plan within an assigned territory/set geographic region)
* Implement authorized plan/schematic developed by the various chain headquarters, so accuracy in evaluation, application and execution on the information provided are essential skills
* Introduce new products, reinforce established and agreed upon case volume and display activity, and monitor in-store promotion results
* Stay abreast of business/market conditions, recognize new opportunities within each account, maintain the necessary territory records and support the sales representative's visibility and market saturation in the account
* Build and develop the trust and confidence of the retailer through knowledge of SGWS policies and procedures coupled with a prompt, courteous resolution of inventory discrepancies

The Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist will provide vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and Merchandiser, may be the first call point for late PM/early AM weekends ensuring proper route coverage, and acting as liaison between the customer, merchandiser and driver for order refusals, and inventory overload. The BAM Specialist may execute weekend operational plans with minimal and additional influence on changes to the strategy. The BAM Specialist will keep the DSM apprised as appropriate.
Duties & Responsibilities
Fills, merchandise, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs. Provides vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and POD Merchandiser.
Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes and generates sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency for each customer to ensure the day-to-day success of the operation and directly contribute to the financial performance of the company in terms of revenue, volume, and gross profit.
Executes applicable promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial plans to ensure excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned customers.
Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out of date product to the branch.
Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelves where permitted. Rotates product. Fills and merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; checks vendor to ensure proper operation.
Fosters business relationship with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussion.
Identifies and communicates any competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business (i.e., pricing, new packaging, change in business strategy, etc.) and executes all job duties in a safe working manner.

Able to complete paid BDS online training courses in the required timeline before working in-store

Availability and Logistics
Flexible availability Monday - Friday, early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours.
Availability to work 20 hours per week minimum
Ability to drive on behalf of the company in compliance with company guidelines with reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
Ability to travel within a designated market up to a 60-mile radius (BDS pays drive time and mileage between store locations)

Merchandise Specialist

Base Pay
This role has a minimum base pay from $17.00 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.
Purpose
This position will maintain the store merchandising standards and store pricing integrity. This role is responsible for managing price changes, execution of product SKU labeling and processing returned merchandise. Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
(1) year of retail sales experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of store management and store associates.
Strong computer skills and internet project coordination experience.
Must be a self-starter and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Sensitivity to confidential information.
Essential Functions
Utilize and maintain store pricing using Tags-On-Demand (TOD) mobile printing station.
Identify and label merchandise that does not have vendor provided SKUs using TOD.
Support merchandise returns by returning saleable product to sales floor.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding and comply with the company's safe lifting practices standard operating procedures (SOP).
As a product knowledge expert, assist customers with product selection and answer product related questions.
Create price tags and signage for all products.
Replace outdated signage based upon updated price changes.
Return products to the correct home locations after customer returns.
Clean and stock products according to Floor & Decor's standards.
Communicate in-store moves and non-scanning SKU products via email.
Partner with Department Managers to determine which products need SKUs, price changes and need to be returned.
Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
Physical Work - Ability exert 30 - 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
