We're the mobile and web development charter organization at WEX. As a Software Developer, you will be joining the Mobile Development team and focus specifically on our mobile apps. We use the Kanban agile process framework and the embedded DevOps model. Our highly autonomous team controls the full Software life cycle from development, to release, to maintenance and operations.

About the role
You will be involved in the development and support of mobile applications using a variety of technologies and services to provide our customers with the best mobile experience possible.

You will leverage the latest technology to improve the quality, stability and increase performance of our apps.

Must have
Experience with iOS development using Swift, and/or Experience with Android development using KotlinExperience with package managers and build tools such as Fastlane, Xcode, CocoaPods, etc

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00

TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Senior Mobile Android Developer in VA. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. RESPONSIBILITIESUnder general direction, develops Web based applications, including online customer service, to enable agency components to deliver their services online.
Develops the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the web-site.
Provides support for the implementation of interfaces to Web-based applications. Performs all functional duties independently.

REQUIREMENTSA minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 7 years of experience in Web-based design/development.
A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
MUST HAVE Proficiency in Java 1.8+.
Understanding of basic Android Mobile development. (i.e., Native Android Development)
Understanding of automated builds and debugging source code.
Extensive experience developing/supporting software applications using Java and more than one of these software technologies: Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, Oracle DBMS, SQL Server DBMS, Visual Basic, JavaScript, MS Access, HTML.
Extensive experience collaborating with end users to define new Web-based software system requirements.
Extensive experience authoring or contributing to software-related documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and user manuals.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust security clearance.

Mobile Android Sr. Developer

We are hiring an Android Developer with excellent Java skills, to work almost 100% Remote. Qualified candidates need experience with Java / Android development and experience accessing Web APIs. As an Android Developer, you will be part of a multi-discipline team where meaningful collaboration is highly valued. We seek an open-minded Android developer candidate that is a quick learner.

This startup company development team welcomes your new ideas. Your responsibilities will be rooted in the design and implementation of applications visible to both customers and employees. This position requires good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to solve complex problems, and applicable technical experience. This is an opportunity to contribute to the entire design and development of the user interfaces, using a rational thought process, as well as creating maintainable code.
