The contractor will document the existing SharePoint architecture implementation and identify and document recommendations for improvement. The contractor will identify site implementation risks and concerns, and design, document and implement sites. The contractor will identify and resolve technical problems with SharePoint. The contractor will document security and governance requirements as well as support the development of training routines and materials for VDH employees. Specific Task(s): • Document current SharePoint environment, including but not limited to system architecture, organization of sites, and existing business processes (workflows). • Identify and document business requirements for: o Features requested by VDH SharePoint community o Updates to features already in place o Best practices for administration and management • In conjunction with data governance, information security, and content/document management staff develop and document security and governance requirements pertaining to document and content management practices within SharePoint. • Identify and document risks and concerns related to security, current sites, or existing process implementation. Identify and document solutions to risks and concerns based on SharePoint best practices and COV-required security procedures. • Develop training materials and conduct training for VDH employees. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with SharePoint, as needed.
