We are looking for an energetic and client-oriented Senior Network Systems Consultant for our Vancouver branch! In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, while providing consultancy services for the design and implementation of industry leading network solutions.
A Day in the Life: Develop network technology solutions to ensure solutions resolve clients' requirements and challenges Design and/or implement standard or custom technical solutions Participate in operational escalations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary Contribute to the implementation of network and system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware Create relevant documentation as required including but not limited to conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate the system and network requirements Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations in client environments, and determine hardware or software requirements
What You Bring: 5+ years of experience with network support, design and deployment Experience with security Ability to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and training on implemented systems Capability to perform network assessments and design recommendations Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve network issues Knowledge and experience with: --> Firewalls, IPS/IDS-->VMware SD-WAN--> TCP/IP, IPSEC Site to Site VPN, GRE, DMVPN, Client VPN, NAT, VRF technologies-->Data Center technologies such as VPC, VDC, FcoE, FC, virtual switching--> Cisco IOS and NXOS--> Cisco Meraki--> Layer 2 technologies such as switching, VLAN, spanning tree--> Layer 3 routing protocols including MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF--> Software-defined networking (SDN)--> Wireless design and configuration--> Network monitoring solutions--> Cisco Voice/Call Manager

Job Summary

This Position Is Responsible For Small To Mid-Size Provider Recruitment And Contracting Activities For Physicians, Physician Groups And Facilities (Independent Hospitals, IPAs, etc). Develop and Negotiate Contracts. Develop And Maintain Relationships With Providers. Ensure Strategic Coverage For Assigned Territory. Responsible For Education Of Providers And For Ongoing Provider Service. May Be Responsible For Or Assist With Contracting Or Supporting Services Large Or Complex Groups/Facilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

? Bachelor Degree and 3 years provider contracting experience OR 7 years business experience including 3 years provider contracting experience.
? Knowledge of provider and facility contracting, products, and claims/processing systems.
? Negotiation skills.
? Relationship building skills.
? Knowledge of marketplace.
? Meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
? Verbal and written communication skills; organizational and planning skills.
? PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office.
? Analytical skills.
? Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays.

The portfolio currently also includes active directory, remote access solutions, DNS & domain management and other services that are expected to evolve to meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities

Working with management develop Network Services strategies and road-maps

Identify solutions to new business requirements, develop business cases, and socialize to gain support

Design and implement functional and secure enterprise network infrastructure (WAN including SDWAN, multi-cloud connectivity, internet access, and remote worker solutions, cloud networking, branch networking, data center)

Help ensure solution development and use conformance to company strategy and policies

Perform technical & vendor evaluations and provide readouts and recommendations

Participate in and support projects across all business functions

Through the use of advanced tools and experience, resolve issues that tiers of support have raised (can include on-call support duties)

Be a technical liaison between management, cross-functional technical teams, service desk support staff and vendors management

Technical management of managed service providers

Working with operations management, identify process improvements and eliminate waste

Mentoring team members

Ongoing optimization such as traffic management configuration, capacity planning, troubleshooting processes to ensure adequate application delivery

Develop as-built documentation processes and provide support to maintain network diagrams and operational procedures

Uses knowledge and expertise to identify and implement cost optimization opportunities

Lifecycle management for network infrastructure

Assist with service positioning and user adoption of related technologies & services, taking into account regional considerations (language, business practices, culture etc...)

Travel as required to collaborate with IT partners and project teams (estimate 10%)
