The Opportunity:
Sr. Manager is responsible for new technology site implementation, leading, planning, and execution to develop DC network integration. Build out the US physical Logistics networks form for competitive advantage and growth while optimizing service and cost.
Work closely with DC network improvement team and Demand Planning and Distribution & Logistics teams as well as external partners to manage inventory and replenishment for U.S. direct businesses, effectively supporting new product launches, promotions, transitions of discontinued items, etc.
Partner with IT, Procurement and service providers (FedEx, LTL carriers, software providers, etc.) on integration of fulfillment data and systems to support a best in class consumer experience and Mattel's business needs.
Develop consumer feedback process and collaborate closely with Consumer Care team to assess satisfaction with delivery, packaging, out of box experience, returns, etc. Identify opportunity areas, make recommendations for improvements and lead cross-functional projects to deliver enhancements and new offerings.
Lead capabilities building to define and deliver best in class service level targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Create business cases for innovative direct to consumer and e-commerce operations, fulfillment, delivery and return offerings and lead internal and external teams to deliver market leading capabilities.
