Provide high-level operation and maintenance technical expertise in VMware VSphere environments. Requires in depth knowledge and experience of Windows and Linux (REHL), VMware VSphere ESXi environments, Dell EqualLogic Storage Area Networks, F5 load balancers, HP server, and storage hardware and configuration. Build, develop, and analyze advanced technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures. Able to install, configure, and manage vCenter Operations Manager, Horizon View environments, and Machine Creation Services. Design and manage Dell EqualLogic Storage Area Networks, including LUN creation, zoning, and multi-patching. Design, deploy, and manage Active Directory domain services, including DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop Session Host, DFS, Microsoft Failover Clusters, and Microsoft NLB Clusters, DNS BIND, and Infoblox (DHCP, IPAM, DNS). Minimum Education Required:

  • MS or MA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering.

Minimum Experience Required:

Work Environment:

Work is regularly performed in an office and routinely uses standard office equipment. The role is based in the Alexandria, VA headquarters of SHRM. It may require the maintenance of a home office and proximity to an airport for work-related travel.
