Job Overview
The Senior Operations Manager is a senior leadership role accountable for all retail store and field operations. This role is elevated above the Retail Operations Manager, with direct leadership over multiple Operations team members and ownership of both strategic and tactical initiatives across stores, field leadership, and cross-functional departments.
This leader will manage and mentor a growing operations team, including the Retail Operations Manager, NSO Coordinator, Field NSO Coordinator, Store Communications Coordinator, and future Operations staff as the company scales. New Store Openings & ROBO Operations
Oversee NSO planning and execution, from site readiness through Grand Opening, ensuring each store opens with operational excellence.
Provide leadership oversight for ROBO Shop operations, including performance optimization, staffing strategies, and sales-driving initiatives.
Reporting, Data & Insights
Owns reporting and data creation for the Operations team, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance for store leaders, field teams, and executives.
Leverage data to identify opportunities, monitor performance, and guide decision-making at the store, regional, and executive level.
Work cross-functionally with IT to create data reporting tools and programs that streamline reporting and improve ease of use for all teams.
Executive Leadership Communication
Supports the creation of presentation content for Executive Leadership updates, ensuring materials are polished, data-driven, and aligned with business strategy.
Present operational updates to Field, Store, & Leadership teams, providing insights, recommendations, and status updates on departmental progress.
What You Will Need
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Retail Management, or related field.
5+ years in multi-store retail operations, with at least 3+ years in a senior-level leadership role overseeing managers and/or cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing operations teams in a fast-scaling retail environment.
Operational Expertise
Deep understanding of retail operations, including NSO planning/execution, store operations, payroll management, compliance, and merchandising standards.
Proven ability to develop scalable SOPs, policies, and best practices across multiple regions.
Analytical & Technical Skills

Key Accountabilities:
Meeting & Events
Generating leads and effective management of the M&E pipeline.
Leading the Lab Team to deliver an excellent end to end experience for M&E hosts and guests.

Ensuring rooms are reserved in the systems and room time and services used are accurately billed for.

Marketing & Community:

Plan 2 Member events each month to foster community within the Lab.

Contribute social content to Central Marketing and oversee EC's production member newsletters.

Member Experience
Assist with the staffing of reception during lab opening hours as needed.

Lab Operations
Ensuring the lab opening and closing checklists are completed and the lab is member ready at all times.
Review and process monthly invoicing/billing to ensuring accuracy and follow up with delinquent accounts according to the AR process, escalating to the GM when necessary
Manage the stock levels and ordering of consumables according to budget targets/controlling costs
Creating/maintaining complete Member profiles in Office RND
Facilitating new member onboarding/orientation
Oversee and ensure that all areas of the lab are well presented at all times
Ensure that all operational systems are in working order and report issues to quickly resolve
Sales Process Assistance
Be able to conduct tours of the lab according to brand standards
Relay pertinent and helpful sales information to the assigned sales person
Assist with closing non-resident membership opportunities and meeting and event bookings.
Enter all Leads and Opportunities in Salesforce and maintain in real time throughout the sales process.
Team Management
Ensuring Experience Coordinators are fully trained on Lab operations and providing excellent customer service to Members and Guests.
Be a coach for EC's when they have questions or are in need of additional training/support.
Actively supporting professional growth of Experience Coordinators.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Team Leader in a hospitality driven environment (hotels,
retail).
Ability to consistently deliver a high level of customer service.
A keen attention to detail and ability to be proactive in support Team, Members, and Guests
The ability to lead and delegate while holding Team Members accountable.

Boarding Operations & Client Management
Maintain all boarding contracts, insurance documentation, and trainer counts.
Manage incoming and outgoing horses in collaboration with the Stabling Manager ensuring proper paperwork is completed at each stage.

Oversee barn charts and vacancies for accurate allocations.

Billing & Financial Coordination

Track and reconcile boarder ledger charges, including maintenance requests and service add-ons.

Vendor & Inventory Management
