We are seeking an energetic and experienced Area Manager to further support our transportation expansion. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and relations for all local primary transportation services in and around the Fort Worth, TX market. Duties and responsibilities will follow: Dedicated freight runs, pick-up and drop off of packages to our final mile carrier partners, while supporting internal operations around receiving and stowing. ShipBob's goal is to provide a cost-effective transportation solution that maximizes driver / trailer utilization, enhances on-time pickup/deliveries, while exceeding our overarching productivity and merchant expectations. As a vital member of our team, you'll be responsible for interacting with delivery drivers and local dispatch (both freight and final mile), sales, transportation management, and multiple shift warehouse personnel. This role reports to the Director, Sort Center Operations. The backup for this role is the Director, Sort Center Operations.
What you'll do:
Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring we are operating an efficient shift while meeting all goals.
Monitor and manage daily delivery schedules, optimize routes, and address any disruptions or delays.
Work with a network of local and national carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.
Responsible for ensuring teams are properly trained on processes and procedures, understand metrics and performance goals, and that their needs are addressed so they can best perform in their roles. Assign tasks, provide coaching and accountability, and motivate team towards achieving performance goals.
Actively foster employee engagement onsite by participating in activities, events, and programs that contribute to workplace culture, a positive work environment and employee wellbeing.

Escalate carrier performance issues to Carrier Managers.
Investigate and resolve operational issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Work closely with departments such as receiving, shipping, and warehouse management to coordinate logistics and address concerns.
Review and approve associate timecards daily.
Supervises daily workflows to ensure products are handled and stored correctly in accordance with defined safety and quality procedures. Maintains compliance with hygiene and contamination control standards and promotes a culture of accountability among associates.
Responsible for the selection, approval, and ongoing oversight of third-party transportation providers to ensure product safety, legality, and quality during distribution. Collaborates with stie and safety teams to address non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

The Role:
Reporting to the Site Leader, the Fulfillment OperationsManager is a key leadership role in our growing 3PL operation.
You will be responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining the resources and processes necessary to efficiently manage and improve FC operations, including picking, packing, shipping, inbound receiving, and consolidation operations. The ability to motivate a performance driven team and be customer service driven is a must.

Maintain records on working hours and meet financial projections of team

Responsibilities
Assume management responsibility for all services and activities involved in the maintenance and operations of Plaza Theatre including event set-up and tear down, building changeovers and oversight of janitorial services.
Coordinate with the City of Palm Springs, all capital and maintenance projects
Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work of part-time operations staff; assign work activities and annual projects.
Monitor part-time event staff hours; allocate hours to each event worked; approve time worked at the end of each pay period.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:

Track budgets, expenditures, and operational performance alignment with Clean Mobility Options (CMO) grant requirements.

Build positive relationships with riders, community members, and staff.

Operate the shuttle safely along assigned routes and schedules.

Record ridership data and incident reports accurately and on time.
Qualifications
