A Day in the Life of a Vice President of Operations
As the Vice President of Operations for Liberty Military Housing, you will be responsible for integration and oversight of Property Operations, Call Center and the integration of NSO staff to support daily operational needs. This position requires a lot of traveling, and will need to have a full knowledge of property operations and is accountable for the overall business results that include an emphasis on customer service and employee performance, while delivering on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with LMH's quality customer satisfaction standards. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operational / Administrative:
Demonstrates understanding and experience with all aspects of asset management, finance, operations, leasing and marketing.
Conducts property visits regularly to provide regional team with recommendations and observations to improve the property, marketing and leasing.
Suggest strategic changes to improve property operations, decrease expenses and ensure quality of service standards are being followed.
Communicate with RVPs, Directors of Operations (DoOs) and Senior Regional Maintenance Directors (SRMDs) regularly regarding regional performance including occupancy, expense controls, capital improvements, performance of team, staffing and general operational matters. This includes monthly in-person meetings.
Meet with COO regularly to review all required reports including occupancy, work order, make ready, purchase order, and payroll reports.
Monitor property audits ensure performance and compliance goals are achieved and maintain compliance as a priority across all teams. Coordinate with Compliance/Internal Audit Manager to address concerns with the RVPs.
Include/involve senior executive leadership, government partners or base command (when applicable) regarding urgent or emergency issues pertaining to the community or residents, to include coordinating communications/media response.
Ensure operational consistency and collaboration amongst regional teams.
Ensure escalated resident issues are addressed appropriately and that the proper LMH/Government personnel are advised.
Participate in resident events on a regular basis, including during and after business hours.

Qualifications
What You Need for Success:

Demonstrated Supervisory skills of a staff of at least 200 employees.

Duties
Director of Operations organizes and oversees people and workflows rendered by all departments of Costa Colina and outpatient services (TBD). The Director of Operations will mentor others and has a deep respect for policies and ethics while having the ability to inspire others. His or her ultimate goal is to create and sustain smooth operating of all functional business and clinical services, while maximizing performance of facility and team. Duties include: (but are not limited to):
Manage the day-to-day operations of the company, and its employees;
To implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization;
To give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives;
Effectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations;
Oversight of Clinical Services and other direct staff assigned to the facility through Direct Reports and ensures optimal program integrity.
Oversight of Business units and Revenue Cycle through direct reports; Including, Billing, Collections, A/R, A/P, etc.
Responsible for ensuring continuing staff development through staff meetings, workshops, training seminars, and other development and training activities;
Monitor the adherence to the policies and procedures of the program;
Responsible for ensuring facility compliance with health, fire, safety and other regulatory standards;
Ensure that the agency collects and evaluates statistical data necessary for program evaluation, planning, justification and achievement of outcomes;
Provide daily, weekly or monthly reports as requested;
Assist and monitor data collection and statistical reporting and complete Quality Improvement reports as requested;
Audit employee files, conduct group interviews, handle employee separation procedures;
Maintain relationships with referring and supporting agencies and represent the agency at various meetings as requested;
Develop standard operating practices that align with the company's mission.
Create expansion strategies to help company meet production and revenue goals.
Recruit and hire qualified professionals to ensure All departments are properly staffed.
Standardize supervision and employee evaluation procedures.
Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback .
Coordinate and implement sound operational guidelines and internal policies while maintaining best standards of practice.
Oversee Quality as relates to documentation and psychotherapeutic services.
Work closely with managers and team to coordinate best practices between departments.
Provide and coordinate clinical training as needed.
Develop and coordinate practices for working with volunteers and interns.
Regularly identify practical solutions for challenges that the administrative, facilities and clinical departments face.
Establish relationships with other organizations, entities, and persons to meet client and company needs.
Thoroughly understand patient management within a residential/inpatient environment.
Comfortable with all rages of patient functioning and has sound clinical background in Trauma, and treatment resistant conditions.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum of Master's degree in Business, or Health Service Administration; or within a Clinical Discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Related field)
Proven experience in management of operations within a medical (healthcare/clinical) environment (5-7 years min.)
Excellent knowledge of behavioral health service delivery
Extensive experience in and comfort with management of environments treating SPMI, & Personality Disorders
Excellent communication, documentation and people skills
Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts
