Assist attorney(s) in all phases of trial-preparation, including but not limited to all pre-trial pleadings, redacting medical, preparing deposition page/line summaries, etc. Managing case deadlines and attorney calendars. Assist with deposition, meeting, or interview preparations. Subpoena, summarize and analyze medical, radiology and billing records, and compile information to prepare final medical summaries/expense summaries. Working knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedures and Texas Statutes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Knowledge of legal terminology and civil procedures.     Kelley Kronenberg is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Paralegal to support our attorneys in defending workers' compensation claims. This fully remote position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation or insurance defense litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Florida workers' compensation law, proficiency in drafting legal documents, and experience managing case files in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities: * Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence under attorney supervision. * Respond to discovery requests, including drafting objections and maintaining privilege logs. * Prepare and update medical chronologies, timelines, and wage calculations. * Manage case files, including tracking deadlines, scheduling depositions, and coordinating client communications. * E-file legal documents through the eJCC portal and assist with trial preparation, including exhibit lists and case summaries. * Collaborate with attorneys to ensure timely and effective case management. * Maintain accurate billing records and track billable hours contemporaneously. Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in workers' compensation defense or insurance defense. * Knowledge of Florida workers' compensation laws and 60Q Rules of Procedure. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing software (Adobe Acrobat, Kofax). * Experience with eJCC filing system and legal case management software (Client Profiles/ATO preferred). * Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting. * Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail. * Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program a plus. This role will play a key part in supporting corporate governance and entity management, while also assisting with litigation coordination and general legal administration.
