The Genomics Team within R&D Discovery and Technology Futures Team is looking for an energetic and innovative Senior Scientist with deep expertise in genomics and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) to drive biomarker discovery projects. The successful candidate will join a team of scientists that specializes across NGS, bioinformatics, and molecular assay development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has strong wet-bench and data analysis skills, is an effective independent contributor, and thrives as a team player in a collaborative environment. What you can expect: Perform diverse Next Generation Sequencing workflows (e.g. WGS, transcriptome, and methylome) and analyze the data to evaluate sequencing performance. Use and maintain cutting-edge genomics equipment, such as Illumina and Oxford Nanopore sequencers and digital PCR instruments. Identify, develop, and execute novel NGS and genomics strategies to advance discovery power and opportunities.
