Key Job Accountabilities:
Develop engineering/product concepts that are innovative, high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy all stakeholder's (customer, manufacturing, material, agency, etc.) needs and requirements through an established area of technical specialty and mentorship of others on the global discipline team.Demonstrate effective communications (teleconference, email, and in-person) through interaction with customers (internal and external) regarding project technical subject matter.Demonstrate skill in the full product realization process, as it applies to their role.Demonstrate the ability to work independently in multiple phases for the Product Realization Process, without direction from mentors or functional management.Assist project management in the development of proposals to ensure accurate technical, staffing, budgetary, and schedule content.Support the Lean culture and effectively utilizes Lean Sigma concepts and tools to identify and eliminate waste while improving processes.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.Five (5) or more years of related experience is preferred.Intermediate Cross-Discipline Development Knowledge.Strong understanding of Structured Design.Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.

Software and Services

+ 8+ years in project management, program management, product management, or engineering management focused on the delivery of data pipelines and/or product features and capabilities

+ 5+ years architecting, building, testing, or delivering technical frameworks, audience targeting, audience segmentation, or audience engagement capabilities

+ 3+ years practicing Scrum software development in roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner

+ Knowledge of and experience applying privacy-oriented laws and rules such as the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

**Description**

Ensure on-time delivery of tools, frameworks, processes, and other software projects that establish or meet Apple's quality, privacy, and security standards. Build a solid understanding of the product strategy and technology guiding our work. Apply your knowledge to help facilitate discussion and decisions regarding priorities, scope, risks, and tradeoffs. Own and drive project estimation, creation of work breakdowns, and resource planning activities. Influence, track, and lead cross-functional requirements, adherence to internal reviews and procedures, timelines, and dependencies with peers and stakeholders. Negotiate outcomes for your teams that resolve timing, scope, and resource conflicts and position us to deliver quality work that achieves business goals. Prepare and present insightful updates on key strategic initiatives to the organization and to leadership. Mentor and facilitate effective use of Scrum methodology with your teams, tailoring your approach to Apple's ecosystem, toolsets, and methods.

L3Harris is seeking an Senior Product Engineer to join our Engineering team in Phoenix, Arizona or St. Petersburg, FL. The Sr. Product Engineer (PE) is the engineering focal and owner for all Technical Aspects of the Product Line. PE provides the daily Leadership for the technical activities to engineering team members that are also supporting the product line. He/She owns technical decision making process for the Product, enabling the team to make decisions in a rapid and successful manner. PE is responsible for engaging other engineering participants with discipline specific backgrounds to resolve issues and provide a unified engineering response. The engineer is key participant representing engineering for the product line in all major Product Improvements and Design Changes, with a focus on continuity for the product's technical strategy. PE will act as the primary product line engineering point of contact for Program Management Office, Quality, Factory Operations, Supply Chain (Procurement), Repair & Overhaul and Customer Support. The individual will ensure technical, schedule and cost targets are met.
Essential Functions:

+ Exhibit good leadership skills and have the ability to coach teammates on technical issues

+ Experience working in a Continuous Improvement Culture

+ Experience with troubleshooting Test Software, RF Test Equipment, RF circuitry, Power Supplies, digital circuits, embedded software, or mechanical assemblies

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

+ Partner with the Program Manager to ensure the success of the Program technical, schedule and cost targets properly defined and met.

+ Constantly engage with cross-functional leaders, defending the Program's needs and priorities

+ Provide engineering technical support for Operations to help ensure the correct Production Processes and Acceptance Testing of the Product occurs.

+ Engineering Technical support for Supplier Quality and Supply Chain to help ensure that the correct technical decisions are being made for non-conformances, part substitutions and supplier manufacturing alterations.

+ Engineering Technical support for Customer Support to help customers with technical issues and questions related to the Product.

+ Support Operations, Quality and Return & Overhaul in analyzing issue reports (for example: DFM, DFT and/or yield), to identify systemic design or test issues.

+ Work with Engineering Managers to allocate domain specific engineering team members for product line support.

+ Initiate continuous improvements that involve engineering and factory working together to improve efficiency and quality.

+ Lead robust Root Cause Failure Investigations

+ Ensure that any potential certification compliance issues are escalated and coordinated with Engineering Management.

+ Maintain historical understanding of the Product's configurations (hardware, software and test)
