**General Summary:** Works under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned projects or goals. Assumes responsibility for all equipment in area/bay of assigned responsibility. Ability to learn all aspects of technical support for new processes quickly.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

+ Assists, performs and learns complex electrical control systems, electronics, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance on conventional and NC/Automatic machine tool repair and trouble-shooting.

+ Independently completes minor equipment modifications and upgrades.

+ Repairs and maintains production equipment in a timely manner

+ Performs complex troubleshooting of electrical, controls, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

+ Troubleshoots electrical and pneumatic schematics and systems.

+ Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs and repairs all types of conventional and NC/automatic machine tools

+ Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans, operating and repair manuals and often works from verbal instructions.

+ Sets up and operates conventional machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or fabricate new parts

+ Performs minor rebuilding projects on major machine tools and equipment

+ Interfaces with and supports manufacturing, controls and quality engineering

+ Completes PM edits, HEC's, minor MOC's, creates and updates minor equipment drawings and other documentation as necessary.

+ May orient, train, assign and check the work of lower grade technicians and operators

+ May performroutine and repetitive production activities where work is of a machine loading and tending nature such as assembling and post-processing of inflators

Senior Production Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand and collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Production Managers in repairs of high-pressure processing and pasteurization equipment and production/manufacturing equipment.
Willing to take responsibility for results while reliably showing good judgement, initiative, and resourcefulness
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace pneumatic equipment such as hydronic and hydraulic seals, high pressure components, air compressors, pumps, hoses, and cylinders.
Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment such as controls, proximity sensors, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, and timers.
Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
Perform preventative maintenance inspections of plant equipment such as conveyors, water heaters, HVAC, water pumps, heat exchangers, evaporators, fans and powered industrial equipment.
Welding equipment such as frames, conveyors, package handling equipment, carts, and guards.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures and regulations
Ensures projects are completed on time and on budget
Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards
Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role
Handle any minor tasks related to the duties of the position

Senior Production Maintenance Technician Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Minimum five years' experience as a lead technician required
Experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, PMs, and inventory
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Electrical or HVAC certification preferred
Proficient mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills (9PLC, HMI, SCADA system and control circuits) and emergency repair skills required
Computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills required
Basic math skills: to include fractions, decimals, percentages, and the metric system; efficient with ratios and formulas required
Ability to read and understand schematics, drawings, and manuals to establish facts and draw conclusions
Ability to properly use measurement instruments included but not limited to hydraulic and electrical
Ability to safely work with ultra-high pressure equipment
Ability to cross-train other Mechanics as well as Production personnel
Ability to find innovative solutions to recurring problems
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively in English

Senior Production Maintenance Technician Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (around 35 degrees F) located within manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift.
Work may involve potential exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.

**JOB SUMMARY**

The Sr. Production Technician,Oxygen Transfill will participate in all production aspects of filling high pressure medical oxygen cylinders - prefill inspections, filling, and post filling processes - in a regulated environment.

**This is a Monday through Friday 1** **st** **shift position and is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus (paid after successful completion of 120 days introductory period).**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Maintains accurate files of all Transfill work performed.

+ Files contain such information as lot and batch numbers, cylinder maintenance and inspection logs and materials required by the F.D.A.

+ Hooks up empty oxygen cylinders to filling manifolds (bulk oxygen tank hookups).

+ Fills high pressure oxygen cylinders with oxygen. Tests and inspects cylinders.

+ Verifies filling requirements Ensures oxygen cylinders are stored in appropriate section of warehouse.

+ May assists less experienced Transfill Technicians by providing guidance and counseling on job duties and responsibilities.

+ Performs other duties as required.

+ Utilization of a pallet jack and or tilter to move (via push/pull) cylinder containers weighting up to a max weight of 1,200lbs.

+ Body Position and Flexibility Elements

+ Frequently and repetitively removing cylinders from containers (floor) and placing onto the inspection table (waste high), then to the filling rack (2ft to 6ft high) after per-fill tasks are completed.

+ Frequently required to reach, on average, 20" away from the body.

+ Frequently required to reach, bend or squat to perform many of the above tasks.

+ Work environment is indoors similar to warehouse operations.
