Position Summary
At Verus Aerospace we produce components, subassemblies and repair and overhaul services for the world's leading manufacturers of aircraft, aerostructures, aero equipment, and other defense platforms. We have an opening for a Programmer who is committed to achieving success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Utilizes MasterCam and VeriCut software to develop programs to control contour-path machining of metal parts on 3 through 5 axis machine tools.
Utilize CAD/CAM software to program fixtures and to develop drawings and bill of materials for the construction of tools of varying complexity and type.
Analyzes drawings, part design data and tooling methods to determine proper tool path, selection of cutting tools, and machine speeds and feed rates, according to knowledge of machine shop processes, part specifications, and machine capabilities.
Ensures conformance to established procedures and quality level.
Policy and conformance to Customer Engineering and Specifications.
Position Requirements
NC programming in MasterCam required.
Experience in the use of VeriCut machine simulation and verification software.
Working knowledge of aerospace engineering models, drawings and specifications.
Requires 3+ years CAD/CAM experience programming aerospace structural components manufactured from all types of metallic materials.
Ability to design, program fixtures and tooling.
Physical and Environmental Demands
Manufacturing environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust, grime and heat. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Overview
The responsibilities of our Platform team include building and maintaining all backend services, including, but not limited to, payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text to speech, and external APIs.
This is a key role and ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, is passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

Our interview process involves several technical interviews and we aim to complete them within 1 week.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements
Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability
Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
Proven experience in backend development: TS/Node (required)
Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
Efficiency in ideation and implementation, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact
Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
Preferred: Proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes
