About the Role
LHH Recruitment is seeking a Project Administrator to join our client's team at a dynamic construction site in Boise. This role is ideal for someone with a background in the construction industry who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting project operations from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the ProjectManager (PM) and Assistant ProjectManager (APM).
Track and process daily paperwork, timecards, and field reports using Microsoft Excel and other projectmanagement tools.
Manage document control, including printing, scanning, and filing project-related materials.
Assist with payroll functions by ensuring accurate timecard entry and coordination with payroll teams.
Process new hire paperwork and maintain personnel records.
Handle expense reimbursements and check requests.
Order office supplies and maintain inventory for the jobsite trailer.
Support multi-departmental clerical tasks, including CX packet preparation and wire label printing.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or construction administration preferred.
Previous experience in construction is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel spreadsheets.
Familiarity with construction management software such as Spectrum, Viewpoint, or similar systems is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.
Supervise the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and assist in negotiating all change quotations to a conclusion.
Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client.
Review any documentation prepared by Assistant ProjectManager before submission.
Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Sr. ProjectManager.

The ProjectManager II is a seniorprojectmanagement position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall projectmanagement support to two to four concurrent projects of small to medium crew size or one to two concurrent projects of large crew size. This is a seniorprojectmanagement role with developed subject matter expertise and the capability to mentor and train other staff.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
May train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or ProjectManager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices.
Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
Participates in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or ProjectManager I.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within guidelines of corporate policies.
Negotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.
Liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities
Under the direction of ProjectManager III and/or Sr. ProjectManager, support construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budget.
Anticipate, prevent, and resolve potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.
Represent the company in project meetings.
Direct the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion.
Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest, and maintain a good relationship with the client.
May assist with the development of new business opportunities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand project lifecycle, phases, and roles/responsibilities within each phase.
Good understanding of the customer's Engineering and Construction Business Plan, and ability to follow all the plan guidelines.
Interface with procurement to ensure project materials have been ordered and establish lead time for the materials.
Collaborate with trades to establish cost estimates and schedule durations.
Monitor project spend and construction progress to ensure projects have adequate budget.
Requirements:
Previous construction project planning and execution experience.
Experience leading all aspects of an assigned project to include clarifying and detailing the scope, schedule, and budget.
Ability to use MS Project, utilizing and modifying MS Project templates, while retaining schedule logic.
Basic estimating skills and the ability to create a bottom-up project estimate with input from project stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or PMP Certification
