About the Role

The Project Manager's responsibilities will be:

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager on behalf of our client, a leading firm specializing in land development projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to take the next step in their career, leading projects and teams while working on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
About the Role:
As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the design and execution of land development projects. You'll manage a team of engineers and drafters, ensure projects meet technical and regulatory requirements, and maintain strong client relationships. This role requires a mix of hands-on engineering expertise, project management, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage land development projects from concept to completion.
Oversee and prepare construction documents, including site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
Conduct stormwater calculations, flood studies, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Mentor and guide engineers, designers, and drafters.
Coordinate with clients, agencies, and other consultants.
Prepare proposals, reports, and written correspondence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
6-12 years of experience in civil/site land development.
PE License preferred but not required.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and site development design.
Expertise in stormwater management, grading, and hydrologic/hydraulic software (HydraFlow, HydroCAD, StormCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, etc.).
Knowledge of land use regulations, preferably in New York or New Jersey.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
