We are looking for Sr.QA SW Test Engineer to join our System Ethernet group. This position will be part of the QA team while the main goal is testing of Ethernet Switch/Router of NVIDIA. The QA team builds and runs all software and hardware tests to ensure that new releases meet our quality and reliability standards for Ethernet switch. You will take part with tests design , test execution, and automation development including functionally, scale , performance, and interoperability system testing. Beside of that you'll spend your time embedded deeply into our development teams, working side by side with the developers, helping us to explore, find and fix our bugs before they can reach our customers
What you'll be doing:

Functional Testing various Layer2 and Layer3 features of NVIDIA-Mellanox Spectrum series Ethernet Switch systems running NVIDIA-Cumulus Linux. Write detailed feature and system test plans, define and design test beds and topologies. Report issues found during testing into the defect tracking system and validate the fixes and workarounds. Develop automated test suites for different features of NVIDIA-Cumulus Linux. Build and maintain automation required to ensure quality via continuous functional regression. Collaborate with design, test and other internal engineering groups to identify, report and resolve



What we need to see:


B.S degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science/related field. 3+ years of shown experience in Software Quality Engineering. Strong technical abilities, problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills. Hands on experience on any L2 and L3 protocols like MLAG, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN etc. Experience with using test tools from Ixia or Spirent and working experience of test management tools like HP ALM. Strong skills in Python or other scripting languages is a must. Good experience working on Unix or Linux based OS. Great teammate with multi-tasking ability and good interpersonal skills confirmed understanding of software engineering practices.



Ways to stand out from the crowd:


Experience with bring up and troubleshooting of Ethernet interfaces and modules. Knowledge in performance testing and solving problems performance issues. Experience with CI methodology & tools (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins etc.)

We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. Position Description

The ideal candidate will perform software quality assurance testing across banking product domains and is proficient with various automation tools and techniques. The individual should be highly experienced with functional testing, possess good automation testing skills, and take ownership of items independently while tracking to closure. The candidate will liaise with global teams to understand requirements, create test cases (e.g., unit, component, multi-component), as well as automate and deliver projects. The position requires attention to detail, coupled with ownership, to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

* Work/Lead as part of a Deposits Agile Squad/Fleet on features like scaling to handle additional volumes, provide flexibility for new funds or improving liquidity and adding funding value

* Hands-on and own QA processes for Deposits workstream(s) with heavy focus on execution of automation across the Deposits space dealing with various automation tools and techniques.

* Write utilities and create framework to support quality practices in DevOps and non-functional areas (e.g., security and entitlement testing, component failures, etc.).

* Understand requirements, create test cases (unit/component/multi-component), automate and deliver projects run on Agile methodology.

* Actively contribute and participate in design and architecture discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile Sprint planning sessions.

* Interact well with clients in the Business, developers, external vendors and other QA teams

Required Skills

* 5 - 7 years of hands on QA experience

* Excellent Automation (DevOps) testing and coding skills: hands-on experience on Core Java 1.8, SQL automation frameworks like Concordion (TDD) / Gherkins-Cucumber (BDD) knowledge of one automation tool (Selenium/UFT etc)

* Excellent hands-on test case creation ability

* Proven excellent problem-solving skills

* Practical experience on Agile Methodology (e.g. Scrum)

* Strong familiarity with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.).

* Adaptive to a continuous changing and fast paced environment, be able to successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged QA role

Desired Skills
