RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Healthcare Recruiter at MDstaffers, you will source and recruit physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants for temporary placement (
locum tenens
). With access to our robust database and marketing tools, you will proactively contact candidates via telephone, text message, email, and social media.
Exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics in order to consistently grow recruiting pipeline (high-volume outbound contact/follow-up)
Exceed sales production standards/quotas; work hard to meet and exceed sales production goals
Serve as an ambassador for MDstaffers with clinicians, providing exceptional consultative service that reflects positively on the organization
Conduct thorough vetting and qualification of prospective candidates.
Coordinate with the client services department to present candidates, schedule interviews, and negotiate offers.
Ensure accurate and timely handling of assignment/placement-related responsibilities such as: travel/lodging, credentialing, reimbursement requests, timecards, payroll, etc.
Become an expert in healthcare staffing through active participation in MDstaffers Institute of Training (MIT) and self-study.

The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for supporting the acquisition of talent and assisting with searches for our technology teams. They will execute on our strategy and programs to attract both active and passive candidates and will drive the recruiting process with candidates from start to finish. The technical recruiter will collaborate with internal teams and external resources to ensure high‐quality talent acquisition. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the end‐to‐end candidate pipeline, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiation, and offer for core technical roles (backend, frontend, full stack).
Execute on recruitment strategies to build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for all geographies and teams.
Refine hiring processes based on market, industry and pipeline data.
Ensure consistent processes are utilized for all candidates within a role.
Set expectations on the recruiting timeline with candidates and hiring managers.
Collaborate with hiring managers to support compensation negotiations, ensuring adherence to company policies. With support and direction from more senior team members, monitor market conditions and make recommendations as needed to ensure we are competitive.
Contribute to diversity and inclusion recruitment efforts.
Required Skills:

The Opportunity
Generate and develop leads through the coordination of advertisements, cold calling, referrals, Internet sources, residency programs, and conventions.
Initiate contact and timely follow-up with prospective Emergency Medicine physicians and Advanced Provider candidates. Document all actions in database accordingly.
Develop comprehensive recruiting plans for specific vacancies.
Conduct preliminary phone screens, providing site and other relevant information on open positions to qualified physician and advanced provider applicants as well as provide the candidates with an overview of Vituity.
Evaluate candidates for positions and organizational match.
Work with candidates and Medical Directors to coordinate phone interviews and/or site interviews.
Conduct follow-up regarding interviews with all applicants on a timely basis.
Discuss the hiring process with new hires during the contracting phase.
Conduct verbal reference checks and enter the information into appropriate forms to share with the Medical Director.
Facilitate identifying appropriate references for written reference checks.
Maintain and update the candidate records in Taleo. Utilize the systems to obtain reports, searches, and listings.
Develop strong relationships and communicate regularly with Medical Directors, Regional Directors and/or Vice Presidents, Lead Advanced Providers and/or Regional Advanced Providers.
Conduct follow up/touch base calls on all new hires after 30/60/90 days to gauge first impressions of the site they work at and Vituity, to enhance retention efforts.
Maintain practice profiles with current site information, credentials requirements and pay information on each site in the region.
Maintain regular contact with new hires until the effective start date and beyond for retention purposes.
Act as a consultant to the site to provide recommendations regarding recruiting and interviewing efforts.
Understanding of and willingness to recruit for all other practice lines including Hospital Medicine, Outpatient Medicine, Psychiatry, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Tele-Medicine positions when requested.
Management of, and demonstrated success, recruiting for one (1) or more hard to recruit sites.
Provide full cycle recruiting for the Emergency Medicine line of business.
Attend all relevant meetings involved with Physician and Advanced Provider issues.
Establish ongoing relationships with residency programs and attend residency dinners as needed.
Prepare for and attend conferences.
Development of recruiting related initiatives that, in line the with Balanced Score Card, advance the effectiveness of the Core Recruiting function.
Work in conjunction with Business Development, Practice Management, Partnership Affairs, HR, and other departments to share market intelligence (leads) and best practices in recruiting.
Provide salary and market assessments to the growth team for potential contracts and RFPs through professional network and cold calls to certain hospitals (no internet research).
Assist in the development/contact of outreach to Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Critical Care/Pulmonology and other Hospitalist related programs when requested; Assist in the development/contact to Anesthesia related programs when requested; Assist in the development/contact to Psychiatry and Neurology related programs when requested.
Prepare and process PA/NP offer letter and hire documents.
Communicate relevant information and updates to credentialing and provider enrollment.
Review status of application process, maintain as necessary and stay in regular contact with applicant(s).
Keep up to date on practice sites and/or Vituity's policies, procedures, etc. and convey this information appropriately.
Required Experience and Competencies
3-5 years of recent Recruiting experience required.
1-2 years working for a practice management company or physician recruiting firm required.
Proficient in MS Office Suite for Windows, Internet and other sourcing techniques and expertise with database management preferred.
Experience with Taleo is preferred.

Job Description
We invite you to join our Physician Relations team as a Physician Recruiter. As a talent acquisition specialist you will get to work closely with our physician relations team, medical directors, and operations management professionals. Here is your opportunity to do meaningful work that will have a huge impact on patient's lives. In this pivotal role you will collaborate daily with operations management and our medical director team members, and will receive guidance from the Senior VP of Physician Services.
This position will be based at our DRI Administrative Office in Sacramento but will be required to travel to our other centers as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Have a robust and detailed awareness of market site locations, administrative offices and regionally remote hiring needs
Have a robust familiarity with market conditions impacting hiring within your assigned region
Develop an effective and responsive communication pathway with local hiring managers in order to ensure prompt and timely communication with candidates
Develop, generate, and post advertisement communication for job requisitions through job posting resources and social media outlets
Identify and source candidates
Develop relationships with hiring resources within the region and market (not an exhaustive list): Medical Colleges, fellowship programs, Former military hiring programs, and Diversity hiring outplacement programs.
Attend job fairs and conferences, and work to foster positive community awareness of RadNet
Develop and maintain a candidate base through ongoing, targeted communication and engagement
Work with our legal department to get employment contracts and our credentialing department.
Maintain awareness of partner market needs and issues in order to provide support for, or referral of, candidates outside of assigned region
Proactively identify sourcing challenges and communicate with regional leadership and recruitment manager to explore options and solutions
Provide timely feedback where challenges arise (with hiring managers, systems, or other) and offer suggestions/solutions to leadership
Travel as needed to events, for interviews, to our centers, and for meetings/projects.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of Physician Recruitment work experience (radiologist recruitment experience is a plus).

Working knowledge of Federal and California State labor laws.
