We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Sourcer/Recruiter who excels in proactive candidate generation and does not rely on a large prebuilt database to be successful. Key Responsibilities
Proactively source Allied Health and Nursing Traveler candidates using job boards, Boolean search techniques, social platforms, referrals, and direct outreach
Build and maintain candidate pipelines without reliance on a legacy or prebuilt database
Identify, qualify, and engage candidates through outbound calls, emails, text campaigns, and professional networking
Recruit for traveler roles including, but not limited to, Allied Health professionals and Registered Nurses across multiple specialties
Manage VMS-driven requisitions, ensuring submissions meet client-specific requirements, deadlines, and compliance standards
Conduct thorough candidate screenings, including skills assessment, availability, pay package discussion, and traveler readiness
Educate candidates on assignment details including location, schedule, pay structure, housing considerations, and onboarding expectations
Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking within the ATS and VMS platforms
Coordinate with internal teams to support credentialing, compliance, and onboarding workflows
Meet or exceed weekly recruiting activity, submittal, and placement targets
Stay current on healthcare labor market trends, traveler pay expectations, and competitive dynamics
Required Qualifications
2-3+ years of proven experience as a Healthcare Sourcer or Recruiter, with direct exposure to Allied Health and Nursing Traveler recruitment
Demonstrated ability to generate candidates independently through sourcing and outreach, not solely from an existing database
Hands-on experience working with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and understanding client submission requirements and processes
Strong phone presence and written communication skills, with confidence engaging passive and active candidates
Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Solid understanding of traveler-specific requirements including- availability, licensure, certifications, and assignment logistics
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency with ATS platforms, job boards, and sourcing tools
Experience recruiting across multiple states and healthcare systems
Familiarity with allied specialties such as imaging, laboratory, respiratory, therapy, or surgical services
Working knowledge of compliance requirements related to healthcare staffing

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Operations & Enablement
Own and continuously improve end-to-end TA operational processes, including requisition intake, approvals, interview workflows, offer management, background checks, onboarding handoffs, and compliance.
Design and implement scalable TA operating models to support growth, transformation, and evolving business needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for TA systems, tools, and integrations, ensuring seamless recruiter and hiring-manager experience.
Technology, Systems & Process Optimization
Lead administration, optimization, and enhancements of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and related TA technologies (e.g., assessment tools, scheduling platforms, background check vendors).
Partner with HRIS, IT, and vendors to drive system upgrades, automation, and process standardization.
Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that reduce time-to-fill, improve quality of hire, and enhance candidate experience.

Develop and own TA dashboards, metrics, and reporting, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, diversity metrics, and recruiter productivity.
Translate data into insights and recommendations for TA leadership and business stakeholders.
Establish governance around data integrity, definitions, and reporting cadence.
Vendor & Budget Management
Manage relationships with TA vendors (RPO, agencies, background check providers, assessment vendors, job boards).
Lead contract negotiations, performance management, and cost optimization efforts.
Partner with Finance to manage TA budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
Policy, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure recruiting processes align with employment laws, compliance requirements, and internal policies.
Create and maintain TA SOPs, playbooks, and governance frameworks.
Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk mitigation related to hiring practices.
Change Management & Stakeholder Partnership
Lead change management initiatives related to new processes, systems, and operating models.
Partner with TA leader, HRBPs, and business leaders to align recruiting operations with workforce plans.
Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to recruiters and hiring managers.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
8-12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or Recruiting Operations.
3-5+ years in a people-leadership or senior individual contributor role with enterprise-level scope.
Strong experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Taleo) and TA technology ecosystems.
Proven ability to build scalable processes and operational frameworks in complex, matrixed organizations.
