We are looking for a talented Senior Platform Engineer with passion for open source, who excels at infrastructure and automation. You will help to build and own the vision of CI/CD framework and Release Engineering practices at Mattermost. We are invested in AWS and Kubernetes, making the most of these abstractions. The Release Train Engineer's (RTE) primary purpose is to support Agile Release Trains (ART) by steering them to success and navigating the complexity of delivering software in scaled Agile delivery systems. The RTE's focus is to deliver value by managing system level processes, execution, and continuous improvement. Release Train Feature Roadmap and Planning
+ Facilitates the coordinated preparation of release planning for the release train. This includes:

+ Collaborating with the Engineering Leader, Architect, Product UX Architect to assist the Product Manager in prioritizing features for the next quarterly planning cycle.

+ Partnering with the Product Manager, Architect, and Product UX Architect in the refining of features to be considered in the next quarterly planning cycle to meet the Feature Definition of Ready.

+ Coordinating ART (Agile Release Train) communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery.

+ Ensuring effective communication and coordination for and during quarterly planning

+ Managing change to the ART's quarterly plan and the impacts of those changes

Release Train Transparency

+ Leads ART in remaining transparent to itself, the teams on the train, and to the organization through:

+ Backlog Management and Rally integrity for accurate reporting. May include the collection of metrics, KPIs, investment mix reporting, and other reporting as needed by the release train or organization.

+ Facilitation and continuous improvement of periodic ART Reviews with organizational leaders and stakeholders to provide clarity on the expected value delivery and to gain stakeholder feedback on changes to direction the release train may need to take.

Delivery Coordination

+ Leads the ART in the coordination of major feature releases and ongoing delivery of value to customers where multiple teams, release trains, or solution groups are involved in development and release by hosting RTC (Release Train Coordination) meetings as needed.

+ Coordinates the ART and the Product Readiness Managers in the orchestration of program level initiatives that cross multiple release trains.

+ Manages ART in resolving or reporting escalated issues involving risk, or dependency management that may be hindering the team's ability to deliver features. Scrum masters and teams facilitate the resolution of impediments, dependencies, and risks within their span of influence.

Continuous Improvement

+ Promotes continuous improvement through the facilitation of Art Retrospectives quarterly, or more often as needed, to improve backlog management, release train reviews, sprint reviews, or release train coordination and higher-level function.

+ Active membership in the RTE Community of Practice helping the organization to maintain alignment, learn new techniques, and improve technical and quality practices. Work with RTE community to determine ways to help ARTs across the company improve cross train and solution group coordination and collaboration.

Other Operational Functions

+ The RTE may be called upon to lead projects that impact the ART but may not require work being added to team backlogs.

+ Partner in the execution of product vision

+ Coordination of production support, and continuous improvement of operational workflows and communication, etc.

Required Experience, Knowledge and skills

+ 5-7 Years of Scrum, preferably scaled Agile experience

+ Must understand the difference between "being Agile" and "doing Agile"

+ Understands Lean thinking and implementation

The Released Product Engineering Team is looking for a Sr RD Engineer to support an international manufacturing transfer. This individual will be a core-team member to this transfer and must be capable of working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Neurovascular Business Unit offers an integrated portfolio of devices

and therapies for the treatment of stroke related diseases.

**Day in the life:**

Provide technical leadership and engineering support to cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert.

Design, develop, and validate test methods to support additional studies post-commercialization.

Apply understanding of anatomy physiology with engineering knowledge in materials and processes.

Prepare technical product documentation including design history files, drawings, bills of materials, test protocols and reports, engineering change orders (ECO), etc.

Prepare full documentation in accordance with relevant internal SOPs and Design Control

Institute design changes based on internal and external customer feedback

Establish and improve manufacturing processes, quality systems, and business processes.

Mentor and guide associate engineers.

Design history and product specification remediation

**Must Have: Minimum Qualifications**

- Bachelors degree

- 4+ years of experience with Bachelors Degree OR 2+ years of experience with an Advanced Degree
