• Obtain cost sharing commitment and support. Serve as liaison and active partner between principal investigators, Office of Sponsored Research, research groups, and other departments; respond to sponsor inquiries; advise of new regulations.

This position serves as Lead Analyst for multiple large, complex health services research studies involving longitudinal modeling of extremely large healthcare datasets in support of multiple research grants funded by NIH and other competitive funders. Under the direction of the Project Director, Associate Director, and/or Principal Investigator, this position implements complex statistical analyses of health care claims data including millions of Medicare and Medicaid claims and other research data; interfaces with scientific collaborators at other institutions; and prepares reports of analytic results.

Oversees and conducts analyses involving complex modeling and advanced use of statistical and analytic tools in SAS and other analytic software and guide the work of analytic teams. Works directly with senior faculty and other investigators on study design, development and implementation of protocols for analyses.
