What You'll Add to DigitalOcean: * 5-8 years' experience planning, conducting, and communicating the findings from user research for digital products and services, ideally with a focus on technical users * BS or MS in Interaction Design, HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or equivalent experience * An excellent ability to understand and articulate user needs, as well as to generate and communicate compelling & actionable insights * Demonstrated experience managing large-scale research initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams * Demonstrated expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, with an ability to select and combine approaches to deliver actionable insights; additionally, experience in market research is a plus * Proven ability to apply quantitative methods - statistical modeling, behavioural data analysis, experimental design. * Strong understanding of large-scale data pipelines and how to work with data engineering teams. * Proficient skills in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.), and statistical software (R, Python, SPSS, etc.). * An expert understanding of the digital product lifecycle and the ability to collaborate successfully with designers, technical & business teams * Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence leaders as well as peers * Previous experience within the Cloud computing industry is preferred.
