We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Senior SharePoint Developer/.NET Developer to work out of Washington, DC.This person would be responsible for designing, developing, configuring and deploying web applications within SharePoint.
Experience with designing, developing, configuring and deploying web applications within SharePoint. The candidate should demonstrate excellent technical skills but also be able to talk with customers on a day-to-day basis. Candidates will be using these technologies on a daily basis: C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, jQuery, Web Services, Workflow, and many other APIs. Enhance UI through custom style sheet, JavaScript injection, content editor webparts, custom action and js Link Have experience building a farm solution Package and deploy solution with PowerShell during Agile Sprint deployment Thorough understanding of application development methodologies; comprehensive experience with structuring, developing, and implementing interactive Web sites and applications. Deep understanding of Web server applications (i.e. IIS) and process flow. Knowledge of database development, including SQL Server 2008/2012. Experience in analyzing business requirements; ability to understand and adapt to the organization's goals and objectives. Additional duties as assigned.



Required Qualifications:



7+ years' experience and strong understanding of ASP.NET, C#, .NET and Web Services. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university



Preferred Qualifications:



Current certifications (e.g. MCSD, MCP, etc.) preferred Working knowledge of either Agile, Scrum, Kanban or Waterfall methodologies Experience of working in Agile, Lean or Continuous Delivery teams Good communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter and highly motivated

Responsibilities:

• Initiate new application development effort using SharePoint technologies: design, develop SharePoint sites architecture, governance and security/access control to meet business needs.
• Perform SharePoint site development interacting with customers and business analyst in gathering functional and business requirements.
• JDevelop, deploy and support solutions by translating functional requirements into robust, interesting, supportable, and sustainable sites/applications.
• Work both independently and as part of a team including with; other developers, software architects, and project managers to develop applications on time and within client parameters.
• Meet with business users in gathering requirements; assist business analyst to translate business requirements into technical requirements and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Perform peer review, assist to develop testing plan and test script; perform testing on applications.
• Write technical design documents and Standard Operating Procedures; assist in functional requirement documents.
• Interact with business users in issue resolution when needed and handle Service Requests in a timely manner.
• Work closely with TO Manager to understand project delivery expectations, architect documentation, develop, configure, test, implement and maintain SharePoint solutions/ applications.
• Administrator duties include; installing, configuring and upgrading SharePoint systems. Managing system operations and services, helping to train and support business users on SharePoint usage and backing up SharePoint data.
• Create custom code applications, integrate and trouble shoot to meet specific business needs.
• Be able to understand end-user problems and develop a solution.
• Effectively perform streamlining and simplifying of processes in SharePoint.

What your day will look like:

* You'll work with a team of developers on the operations and sustainment of existing custom apps. As well as, designing, testing, and implementing new applications and business processes, based on the customer's needs.
