    The Senior Software Engineer will provide data and software solutions to support next-generation semiconductor (SiC) manufacturing at all Coherent sites world-wide. The focus of this role is to implement and support the manufacturing execution system (MES). Job location is on-site in Easton, PA or Pine Brook, NJ with on-demand travelling between sites. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Solution design and implementation of the Siemens Opcenter Ex Semiconductor suite, with an emphasis on the metadata (Designer Studio) and the underlying SQL database. Serve as source-data expert for data applications interfacing with MES. Support manufacturing process change management in the context of MES. Support integration between MES and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms. Participate in general data pipeline software development. Education & Experience A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, physics, materials science, mathematics, or similar STEM field. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is advantageous. 5 years' experience working with Siemens OpCenter Ex Semiconductor suite or its predecessors such as Camstar.
