Aetna, a CVS Health company is seeking a self motivated, experienced professional to support our IT team to ensure the delivery of quality products using modern technologies. In this position, you will work in teams with other developers, designers, testers, and project managers to deliver quality software on-time based on functionality requested by our business partners.-Build, test, and automate functionality based on requirements provided by our business partners.-Be able to work in a fast paced, high energy team that utilizing CI/CD best practices.-Update user stories with estimates and implementation details.-Participate in any of the phases of the development lifecycle.-Detailed orientated and excellent communication skills-Skilled in BDD methodology mindset.-Ability to work on simultaneous projects of varied complexities.-Act as an overall test lead during test execution and review/analysis of results.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 60,000

Maximum: 128,700

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Summary

Liaison/TargetX is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Software QA Analyst to help improve the quality of our products and evolve our quality assurance, testing, and quality control processes.

You must be comfortable and productive in a fast-paced development environment, while also remaining diligent and determined in your efforts to deliver high-quality, well-tested, and user-friendly software products.

We're a product- and customer-focused team. As such, you must be comfortable with cross-functional teamwork, willing to collaborate with other teams across the organization (Support, Implementation, Client Success, Product Management, etc.), and able to think about our products from a customer and end-user perspective as well as a software engineering perspective.

Required Skills & Experience ("Must-Have")

• 5+ years of experience as a Software QA Analyst with a focus on web applications
• 5+ years of experience manually testing software applications across various platforms and operating systems (web, mobile, desktop, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience developing and validating testing strategies and methodologies based on product requirements and business objectives
• 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining thorough, well-defined, well-organized test cases (“test scripts”) based on functional requirements and acceptance criteria
• 2+ years of experience organizing test cases into test suites for testing specific features and user-flows, as well as optimized for full regression analysis, partial regression analysis, and smoke tests
• 2+ years of experience managing daily test suite execution (“test runs”), as well as analyzing and reporting the results of each run
• 5+ years of experience triaging test suite execution failures, identifying/reporting defects and their severity in bug tracking systems, and ensuring timely resolution of high severity defects
• 5+ years of experience logging thoroughly written bug reports including reproduction steps and supplemental screenshots and screencasts
• 2+ years of experience with exploratory testing to uncover edge-cases not explicitly covered by existing test scripts
• Excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to document and explain reported bugs
• Must thoroughly understand how web applications work, including the difference between client-side code (running in the browser) and server-side code, and how the browser and server communicate via HTTP
• Must be proficient at identifying common problems and troubleshooting web applications (e.g., JS errors, bad HTML DOM structure, CSS styling issues, HTTP request-response failures, etc.) using the browser's developer console
• Must be comfortable working in an Agile Scrum environment

Desired Skills & Experience (“Nice-to-Have”)

• Some experience with web accessibility testing, including WCAG standards, and using tools like WAVE, Axe, NVDA, and JAWS
• Prior experience testing software applications for Higher Education and/or Education Technology
• Prior experience testing applications built on top of the Salesforce platform using Apex, Triggers, Custom Objects, Workflows, Visualforce pages, SOQL, etc.
• Experience using SDLC tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, TestRail, and Jenkins
• Prior experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using functional testing frameworks such as Robot, Selenium, QTP, WebDriver.io, etc.
• Experience reviewing, validating, and contributing to user guides and documentation
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
• Alternatively, a STEM degree with software testing certifications

We have a Sr. Software Quality Assurance position opportunity available! We are looking for self-motivated and passionate professional that will perform the below responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

+ Provide Technical and program leadership to the QE Analysts on the Quality Engineering Team as part of Development Programs and Projects, supporting Content Management/Delivery Platforms, Systems, and related Applications.

+ Work as a member of the WK DXG Platform Services Team to help support an effective QE capability to underpin and support Projects, Programs, and the management team's strategic goals.

+ Provide direction to onshore/offshore QE Analysts to successfully plan and execute QE Programs.

+ The Sr. Software Quality Analyst, will report to the QE Manager

+ Participate in reviews and provide feedback on Requirements, Design Documents and Specifications, and Project Plans and Initiatives from a Quality Engineering and testing perspective.

+ Coordinate efforts within the QE Team to increase the use of automation and related tools so as to increase reliability, repeatability, quality, and time to market

+ Assist QE Analysts in reviewing Business Requirements and Software System Designs for gaps and testability.

+ Develop effective and efficient Test Strategies to support Development Programs, Projects, and Prototyping activities

+ Assist QE Analysts in troubleshooting and identifying root cause of issues uncovered during testing

+ Create Test Plans that define the testing scope and approach for projects

+ Assist QE Analysts in developing and defining test data requirements to execute defined test strategies.

+ Direct the day-to-day QE deliverables for the QE projects

+ Conduct daily/weekly Issue Review Meetings

+ Represents QE for Assessment phase of assigned projects to assemble estimates

+ Proactively determine more efficient test approaches to increase quality and reduce overall QE costs

+ Develop end-to-end test plans with other teams to ensure complete system testing coverage

+ Generate project status reports

+ Participates in yearly team objective progress

+ Participates in Escaped Defect Analysis process and maintain all quality data

+ Maintain all JIRA & Jama project setup and data maintenance for projects

+ Independent QE thought leadership to drive evolving QE processes

+ Identify meaningful gaps in the QE process on an on-going bases that will drive measurable improvements in QE testing effectiveness and reduced defects into UAT and Production

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor Degree preferred in a Computer Sciences or related technical discipline

+ Minimum of 5+ years in testing activities

+ Experience in leading projects within own team as well other related teams, acting as a resource for other QE Analysts on projects or initiatives a plus

+ Multi-disciplined technical background, (Networking, Application Development, SQL DB)

+ Experience in performance, capacity, and endurance testing, as well as results analysis and recommended remediation is required.

+ Working in Agile Scrum and DevOps environments

+ Experience in test automation and integration with continuous build build/integration systems is required.

+ Strong system troubleshooting and analysis skills required

+ Experience in the following areas is desirable: enterprise platform operations, content management and delivery, search engines, system engineering, and performance testing

+ Strong collaboration and mentoring skills

+ Strong verbal and written communication, particularly in crafting messages and status reports to Senior Management and Business Partners

+ This position is global in nature and requires interfacing with and supervising multinational teams. The successful candidate must work comfortably across numerous time zones and amongst culturally diverse teams.
