The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer Supports the development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within the organization's existing IT infrastructure. The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer Implements the organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud-based products/services, applications, and solutions. Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance, and implements enhancements. Begins to influence the department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
This role will be part of the Medical Records Management System, an enterprise system for requesting, receiving, storing, and usage of medical records within Humana involving 65M+ medical records per year.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science or related field6 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Cloud Networking, Cloud Security, Windows, and LinuxStrong technical knowledge of .NET Core, .NET 6, and C#Knowledge of Relational and No SQL database design patterns Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-204 Azure Associate Developer or higher) Strong understanding of Terraform, PowerShell, and ARM scripting Strong cloud platform security knowledge - IAMStrong networking knowledge - Routing, DNS, FirewallsGood understanding of application containerization and orchestration using Docker and KubernetesExperience with infrastructure automation through CI/CD pipelines

Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their homes to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. The RoleDesign and build data architecture for data science projects using big data technologies.Design and build data infrastructure for machine learning model serving on real-time streaming data as well as batch data processing.Help define analytical direction and influence direction of the associated engineering and infrastructure work.Implement and deploy Data Science models in production.Design metrics, reports, dashboards and BI solutions for data quality, and various data science applications Help derive predictive analytics from billions of time series data points.Partner with internal stakeholders on projects to identify and articulate opportunities, see beyond data to identify solutions that will raise the bar for decision making.Use quantitative analysis, machine learning and data science tools to see beyond the numbers and understand what can improve our processes.
QualificationsBachelors, Masters or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.4+ years of Data Science or Data Engineering experience working on highly complex problems in a dynamic setting Strong programming skills, especially in Python, Scala or Java, or C/C++ with 3+ years of relevant experience in a programming intensive role.Technical knowledge of Statistics, and Machine Learning.Advanced expertise in SQL.Relevant work experience, including experience applying advanced analytics, and data mining techniques.Hands-on Experience in Big Data tools, i.e. Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Presto, Airflow, Elastic Search, Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with data presentation and visualization with tools such as Tableau, Grafana or other similar tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Nice to HavesExperience with data science packages such as skit-learn, SciPy etc., and Machine Learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow, Keras and Torch.Experience with REST API design, deploying and monitoring models in production.Experience with telematics data engineering and/or analytics is a plus.Relevant experience in Automotive, Transportation is a huge plus.
