Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Project Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position reports to the Engineering Leader and is responsible for complex product/system design, mentoring, driving process improvements, strategic planning and presentations. This position provides new intellectual property to the organization, as well as technical leadership to the enterprise. Additionally, this role provides leadership in the development of industry standards, and has a high level of industry/Customer contact and industry awareness. This position participates in enterprise negotiation as well as providing technical evaluation of new opportunities within the PLC process. The Senior Staff Engineer develops roadmaps and sets technical strategy and direction, and has a strong relationship with Customer, Supplier, individuals and organizations on a systems/standards basis.

What you will be doing
Directs all engineering aspects of several complex and detailed projects, which may include project management as well as engineering tasks. Solves in-depth engineering problems and communicates solutions to other engineers, sales development and management Promotes and implements process improvements company-wide. Champions process in specific product development areas. Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but includes a variety of complex features, such as conflicting design requirements, non-standard materials and difficult coordination requirements. Provides direct support of sales and development by sharing information in the form of major/complex proposals and design reviews.

Can verify validity of analysis. US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Engineering Greater than 12 years in related field required, including post-graduate experience .

Qualifications8+ years of direct hardware power design experience.Experience with low and high voltage power semiconductor selection (IGBTs, MOSFET's, and Diodes), gate drive and protection circuit design.Experience with multi-phase core power design for high performance CPUs, GPUs and DRAMSkilled in schematic capture / power simulation tools.Proficiency in oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc MSEE or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering preferred Understanding of UL and CE electrical safety requirements and EMC requirements relevant to power design GREAT TO HAVE - Experience working on automotive, robotic, aerospace, high reliability or safety critical electronics hardware.

As a Senior Architecture Staff Engineer, you must have experience designing applications and services in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment and have experience implementing both batch and real-time data solutions. The Architect will be responsible for projects being developed for retail customers & will be responsible for migrating Mainframe applications to Cloud (AWS/GCP/OCI). The main responsibilities for this position include:

Make well-informed decisions with deep knowledge of both the internal and external impacts on teams and projects. Foresee shortcomings ahead of time and be able to drive to resolution.

The Architect will serve as technical thought leader and SME for our Public Cloud ecosystem of Partners, customers, and service providers.

Work as part of the consulting team to support the design and implementation of the cloud solution. Develop Proof of Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.

The Architect recommends, evaluates, and implements methods to optimize and enhance the application with the cloud environment to maximize performance and minimize costs. Use various data formats such as JSON, Parquet and Avro.

Experience with messaging like Kafka, IBM MQ, Apache MQ preferred
