This is a unique opportunity to join our client services team and work directly with the leadership team. We are looking for star performers who have at least 5 years of experience working in related fields (e.g. carbon management, sustainability or broader non-financial reporting) and a broad range of knowledge of climate change and sustainability (e.g. policy, methodologies and frameworks, legislative requirements voluntary market developments).
The key responsibilities of the roles will include:

Lead and deliver multiple client projects

Lead the delivery of more complex implementations, managing team members to meet the deliverables

Develop and manage credible relationships with senior client stakeholders

Support the professional development of junior team members and through mentorship in particular knowledge or skills areas

Manage workload of supporting team members and track client billings relative to budgets

Support the business development process with both prospective and existing clients

Grow new business development ideas and associated commercial models

Speak at appropriate events

Represent Greenstone on relevant interest bodies or associations.

The individual will support a client-facing team in the design, management, and reporting of organizational sustainability programs. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and capacity to work on a wide variety of projects and the demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Candidates should be passionate about sustainability, self-motivated and self-directed, collaborative, and able to produce high-quality work products.

Specific experience in supply chain sustainability is required, particularly supplier capacity building, supply chain GHG emissions calculation, and/or responding to supplier reporting frameworks such as CDP Supply Chain or EcoVadis. Sector experience in technology is preferred.

Location of the position is flexible, including **San Francisco, CA; San Diego, CA; Portland, OR; Boulder, CO;** and **New York, NY,** among other WSP office locations.

**Who You Are**

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree in environment/sustainability, business, energy, engineering, public policy

+ 5-7 years of professional experience in supply chain sustainability and/or management consulting

+ Well-developed interpersonal skills, maturity, credibility, confidence, and integrity

+ Strong program management experience: the capacity to develop early-stage concepts into implemented strategies and initiatives

+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: comfort with managing, manipulating, and interpreting large amounts of data; uses a structured-thinking approach to solving open-ended problems

+ Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and manage time efficiently

+ Experience in supply chain sustainability and the technology sector

+ Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks including CDP, TCFD, EcoVadis, GHG Protocol or RBA

+ Curiosity and an aptitude for continued learning across a range of emerging sustainability topics

+ Ability to collaborate remotely across geographies and platforms

+ Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate results via Microsoft Office or related software and craft compelling presentations and reports

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ 6-10 years of professional experience in supply chain sustainability and/or management consulting

+ Master's Degree in environment/sustainability, business, energy, engineering, public policy

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Salary: $74,900 - $148,500

Work you'll do:

As a Senior Consultant within the Sustainability Climate and Equity: Gi3 practice, you will advise clients on sustainability and social Federal C&I programs and facilitate the analysis and documentation of such opportunities. Many businesses do not have the personnel or resources needed to keep up with the evolving legislation in these areas, and you will play a key role in helping clients accomplish their ESG goals by understanding relevant government incentives. You will work with an experienced and passionate team in a growing area focused on sustainability and ESG, proactively collaborating with colleagues across all member firms - Tax, Advisory, Consulting, and Audit and Assurance.

The ideal candidate is invested in the team's success and effectively facilitates workstreams while working with leadership to identify process improvements and opportunities for new services. The Senior Consultant will ensure accurate, timely completion of deliverables. He or she will monitor current and proposed tax legislation and regulation related to sustainability and and ESG, as well as implement client outreach strategies.

Responsibilities will include:

+ Deliver value to clients by identifying opportunities and advise clients on potential benefit and eligibility requirements

+ Maintain and develop strong internal and client relationships

+ Demonstrate sound judgment and a quality-first mentality with respect to evaluating eligibility for various fact patterns

+ Develop process with our colleagues in other technical specialties and other materials to perform benefit calculations

+ Collaborate with member firms, including Advisory and Consulting, to execute work streams, such as valuation studies, tax equity modeling, and life cycle assessment ("LCA") studies

+ Identify potential issues and propose solutions to leadership, as well as implement process improvement strategies

National Federal Tax Services ("NFTS") is a national practice within Deloitte Tax made up of several tax service offerings. NFTS service lines provide tax planning and compliance support for the largest organizations across all industries. Qualifications

Required

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, technology, or related field

+ 3+ years' experience in related field

+ Demonstrated analytical and research skills, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills

+ Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate and proactively develop internal and external working relationships

+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

+ Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

+ One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing able to obtain:

+ Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

+ If not CPA eligible:

+ Licensed attorney

+ Enrolled Agent

+ Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM
