ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement complex Player and or AI systems using visual scripting.Design, create and maintain asset databases for the above systems, using CRYENGINE.Iterate on behaviors and system functionality based on feedback.Contribute creative design ideas to the project.Balance and adjust systems to create fun game play.Work with other departments to ensure all required resources are scheduled and delivered.Be a technical knowledge source for other members of the development team.Contribute tool and workflow improvement ideas.Work closely with QA to debug systems.

THE ROLE:

Our team plays a major role in architecting and shaping every graphics board offered by AMD.

As part of the GPU, Datacenter & Accelerated Processing Organization, you will be developing and leveraging execution content to ensure enablement of system features, as well as for discovering software, hardware, or platform issues.

You will work across diverse groups spanning architecture, firmware, driver, debug, automation infrastructure and specialized IP teams to help root cause and resolve issues encountered along the way.

THE PERSON:

Experience or knowledge of software, hardware or firmware system design, integration or validation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge in hardware programming, bring up and execution methodology

Software and hardware triage skills

Strong Python scripting experience and OO design

Knowledge in other languages is an asset

Demonstrated understanding of PC Platform Architecture, with hands-on experience in assembling PCs from components, set-up, configuration etc
