- Support and administer interfaces with the lab system and at times consult in lab-related non-CERNER systems.
- Assist all CERNER facilities with the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and related laboratory applications including, but not limited to, pathology, blood bank, microbiology, genomics, phlebotomy connect, reference labs, and point of care testing.
- Work collaboratively with vendors, Hospital Support Center (HSC) Quality, Operations, HITS teams, and hospital teams in determining and implementing solutions which support quality and regulatory initiatives, workflow challenges, and user experience.
- Assist in system architectural development (i.e. building tests, panels/profiles). This role must possess competencies to build autonomously within the CERNER domain.
- Work with Lifepoint clinical operations to develop standard reporting needs and deploy these reports to all the required facilities as needed.
- Review, coordinate, and assist in the development of new enhancement testing and implementation project plan for new installations, including upgrade activities.
- Monitor new system setup and training to ensure following Company operational guidelines.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
