The role of Senior Systems Analyst on the Enterprise Analytics Team is focused on the delivery of key reporting initiatives in the SAP BW/HANA and BW4HANA space. You will utilize a combination of SAP BW/HANA and BW4HANA with an Agile approach and a Continuous Delivery philosophy. You will lead development, testing and deployment of SAP BI solutions needed to advance Conagra Brands Analytics needs.You Will: Lead design and blueprinting sessions and act as a solution architect and developer for SAP Analytics using SAP BW/4 HANA, Enterprise HANA . The selected applicant will provide overall technical and training support for the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) Department of Defense (DOD) Operational Support Facility (OSF) located in St. Inigoes, Maryland. Researches, develops, implements, and maintains STARS rules, radar video maps and adaptation databases using source data and ATC knowledge and skills relative to individual DOD terminal operational environments. Designs and monitors the execution of test and implementation plans. Reviews proposed software modifications for their impact on the operational environment and support software. Develops and edits training material as required. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of ATC inter-facility operations as well as the interface of operations with adjacent ATC facilities. The selected applicant will interface with customers to ensure project continuity and efficiency.

The selected applicant plans and conducts analysis of STARS software, adaptation, work processes and operational practices. Provides STARS technical assistance to operational field personnel for software and adaptation malfunctions to address problems quickly and implement corrective action, which often requires the coordination of on-site activities with all affected personnel.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Job purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a SENIOR MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS ANALYST. The SENIOR MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS ANALYST will be part of the shop floor systems Center of Excellence (COE) for PDS. The COE currently develops and supports critical applications that support the 5 former DT electrification plants, and the upcoming plant in Viana, Portugal. The hire will support the strategy, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing and shop floor systems such as, but not limited to FIS (Factory Information Systems), SCADA, MES, OPC, SPC and SQL solutions as well as being able to assist in the support of the industrial infrastructure. The Senior Manufacturing Systems Analyst must be able to work well with the business end users, manufacturing and controls engineers, operations personnel, and SAP functional leads. This person needs to have the ability to gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications for use in the design and development of solutions. The successful candidate needs to be able to work independently, communicate business requirements, develop, and configure in the toolsets deployed, perform functional testing to confirm functionality and work with key users to gain approval for all changes before moving changes to the production environment. The person in this role will work towards continuous improvement in processes and end-user skill levels, diligently pursue enhancements to ensure the systems are being used properly and fully to meet the business needs. This person must monitor these solutions for issues/errors and assist in the notification and resolution of the issues.

The Senior Manufacturing Systems Analyst will work with both internal and external teams and work cross-functionally between the business and IT to bridge the gaps between design, content, and technology. The position is fully aligned with the business domain and operates as a trusted and well-informed strategic partner.

Key responsibilities
Work in partnership with central manufacturing engineering, to anticipate requirements for integration of new manufacturing technology and at the same time actively listen to requirements raised by the local teams. Facilitate short- and long-term strategic planning sessions with both central and local teams to improve, enhance and innovate business capability.Work in partnership with the IT functions to anticipate the evolution of the information system architecture and determine specific actions to mitigate the risk of ongoing technology obsolescence.Provide 2nd level support for manufacturing operations and shop floor activities including support, issue resolution and problem solving Responsible for gathering business requirements and objectives for projects Participate in the design, development and configuration for new and existing shop floor systems and functions needed to support critical business strategies Work closely with internal resources from IT, engineering, and operations on designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining systems for efficient and effective manufacturing execution.Conduct key user training regarding shop floor systems as needed to ensure the systems are being used properly and that they are meeting business needs Support the existing FIS applications in use in the production environment Help to configure and prepare the system for new products that are to be built at the manufacturing plant.
