Power Management SystemEngineer within Datacenter Infrastructure
Analog Devices is currently recruiting for the role of Power Management SystemEngineer within the Datacenter Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of power circuits and systems to support next generation Datacenter solutions.
Datacenter infrastructure encompasses the physical and virtual resources that support a data center's operations. This includes hardware like servers, storage, networking equipment, power systems, energy systems, and cooling systems, as well as software for resource management and virtualization. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* New power module product developments including product definition, feasibility, design, simulation, test, lab evaluation/debugging, qualification and release.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Masters or Bachelor's Degree in CPE/EE or related field with a focus on power delivery and design.
* Minimum 5-year industry experience in power delivery and distribution.
* Strong foundation of analog circuit, power electronics and power management systems.
* Expertise in switching mode power converter (Buck, Boost, etc) design and optimization.
* Solid knowledge and development experience of transformer-based isolated power converters (Flyback, forward, half-bridge, full-bridge, etc.)
* Strong analytic skills. Proficient in power converter modeling, control architecture and loop design, static and dynamic performance optimizations.
* Familiar with circuit design/simulation/optimization tools (SPICE/LTspice, Simplis, MathCAD/Matlab, Ansys/Maxwell, etc) and lab equipment for power applications.
* Strong hardware and circuit debugging skills.
* Magnetic design and simulation, thermal analysis knowledge and experiences.
* Familiar with digital power management, I2C and PMbus protocols.
* Familiar with firmware, DSP or FPGA programming (preferred).
* Analog IC design knowledge (preferred).
* Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
Implement, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions utilizing Dell servers, NetApp storage, VMware virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure services (AWS/Azure), including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations.
Lead complex infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, hybrid integrations, upgrades, and capacity planning.
Manage and optimize NetApp storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.
Administer and enhance VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, virtual networking, and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of all infrastructure components.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and cloud-native automation tools.
Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud environments.
Provide expert Tier 3 support and technical mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the global team.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution to ensure business continuity.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and systems administration.
Expert-level knowledge of Dell server hardware and management tools (e.g., iDRAC, OpenManage).
Extensive experience with NetApp storage systems, including administration, configuration, and protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI).
Advanced proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related virtualization technologies.
Advanced proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, including services for compute, storage, networking, and security.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for infrastructure automation and monitoring.
