Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in a support-focused, entry-level role. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems support, and platform operations.
The Associate Infrastructure Engineer will primarily support end-user systems, machine setups, and internal support tickets, while learning core infrastructure concepts under the mentorship of seniorengineers. This role provides exposure to enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and operational best practices in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
This position follows HomeSource's hybrid work model and does not require travel responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Systems Support
· Assist with workstation and laptop setup, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting (Windows/mac OS).
· Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, hardware provisioning, and access management.
· Help maintain and monitor basic infrastructure components under the guidance of senior team members.
Help Desk & Ticket Support
· Respond to and resolve Tier 1 / Tier 2 support tickets related to hardware, software, network access, and user issues.
· Escalate complex issues appropriately while documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
· Provide friendly, professional support to internal employees across the organization.
Maintenance & Documentation
· Assist with routine system maintenance, updates, and inventory tracking.
· Create and update internal documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
· Follow established IT and security best practices.
Collaboration & Learning
· Work closely with Infrastructure Engineers, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams.
· Learn infrastructure concepts such as networking, servers, cloud platforms, and security fundamentals.
· Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop technical skills and professional growth.

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
