This individual will collaborate with the network infrastructure team in supporting a high-impact government initiative. This role involves overseeing and optimizing a hybrid environment that includes RedHat OpenStack, Dell hardware, NetApp storage solutions, and cloud-based systems hosted on AWS.
You'll be responsible for maintaining both local and remote infrastructure components, ensuring reliable performance across distributed systems. Compensation:

Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00

Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Responsibilities:
Performing high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and servers.
Coordinating, directing and performing complex software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Scheduling installations and upgrades and maintaining them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
Continually monitoring and tuning multiple systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
Ensuring workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities.
Ensuring data/media recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
Planing and implementing the modernization of servers.

Qualifications
Bachelor's and five (5) years or more experience; master's and 2 years related experience
Demonstrated expertise in Windows Systems Administration, encompassing current versions (Server 2019, 2022, Windows 10, 11 Enterprise), Microsoft Server products, and Active Directory
Proficient in Linux environments
Hands-on experience with Single Board Computers and GitLab Runners
Applicants must have experience with the application of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to operating systems and network devices

RHEL 9 Security Compliance
Knowledge of Cloud-to-On Prem. architecture
