Responsibilities: As a Verification Engineer within the Truck Build and Configuration team you will perform problem solving activities related to ECU, Wiring, or end-to-end function issues to support projects with their test vehicles and rigs. Supporting fault tracing in project trucks, early phase electrical engineering, software downloading, parameter programming of ECUs, and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical issues in the lab, rig, or truck environment. Performing vehicle logging and capture fault codes, analyze log files and support component owners and engineers with various problem-solving activities. Writing problem reports, define needed activities, and recommend actions for problem resolution. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or equivalent engineering. 5-8+ years of experience from HW/SW development and testing in truck or car industry. Knowledge of distributed embedded systems as well as CAN, ISO, and LIN protocols and you are comfortable in using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot wiring harnesses, sensors, and actuators. Proficient with use of tools for basic mechanical tasks, and you can read electrical schematics for automotive troubleshooting. Experience using a multimeter in troubleshooting and a strong ability to use computer-based diagnostics. Good working knowledge of Vector tools such as CANalyzer.
