Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on LED SystemsEngineer & Event Operations Technician who can design, build, deploy, and support professional-grade AV and LED systems across installations and live events.
This is not a desk-only engineering role. You will work across the full lifecycle:
Designing and standardizing AV racks and systems
Assembling and testing equipment in our Orlando warehouse
Traveling to installations and events for deployment, troubleshooting, and operational support
Acting as a first-line technical owner on site, coordinating with ASB's global engineering team when needed
You will play a key role in establishing technical standards, documentation, and best practices as ASB's US AV operations scale.
Your tasks with us:
Support installation, startup, operation and basic maintenance of ASB LED floors during events and permanent installations
Perform first-line troubleshooting during live operations
Escalate complex issues to ASB's global engineering team when required.
Log incidents, maintenance actions, and operational notes to improve future projects.
Design and document AV/IT racks (servers, media servers, video processors, UPS, networking, KVM, cabling and SOPs)
Assemble, wire, configure, and test AV racks in-house and on-site, as well as preparation of systems for transport, deployment, and on-site commissioning
Configure and validate systems using Pixera, Disguise (d3), Novastar, Analog Way Aquilon, and related platforms
Work closely with engineering and support teams in the US, but also in Germany.
Coordinate with project managers, sales, and external partners
Assist with procurement, spare parts strategy, and inventory tracking
What you bring with you:
At least 3 years of experience in LED integration, live event production, or systemsengineering.
Hands-on experience building and wiring racks and data, power and signal distribution for LEDs.
Strong troubleshooting skills under live or time-critical conditions.
You stay calm under pressure with preparation and backup plans.
You are comfortable working independently and taking ownership on site, that includes a willingness to travel (approximately 30-40%).
Ideally you are experienced with Novastar, Analog Way Aquilon, Pixera, Disguise and similar platforms.
Familiarity with Absen LED systems and event-based AV workflows, as well as electrical and power distribution for AV systems (PDUs, UPS, rack power, generator/temporary power, load calculations, and safe load management) would be a plus.
CAD experience (AutoCAD or similar) for rack and system documentation, would help you in this role.
Background in broadcast or sports or large-scale live events would also be great.

Reusable systems with frequent launch cadence are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. A highly operable, reliable, and robust ground system is an integral part of a fully reusable launch system. As a Launch Infrastructure Engineer for our dedicated launch complex at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, you will be responsible for developing and commissioning a new launch pad from scratch. You will be responsible for all phases of the launch site lifecycle including overall architecture, engineering, build strategy, build execution, integration, commissioning, and site operations. Responsibilities
Facilitate and drive coordination closely across all Launch disciplines and help define & drive infrastructure strategy to enable a high-cadence, fast-turn launch site.
Develop and maintain interface requirements and performance requirements for heavy civil structures in coordination with launch mechanical, launch fluids, high power, command & control and vehicle operations.
Perform structural engineering analysis and drafting for critical ground infrastructure including launch mount structures, flame trench structures, tank foundations, and other supporting structures as required for ongoing launch site needs.
Develop, own, and maintain scope development, build sequence strategy, field construction schedule planning and on-site management.
