Lay pipe to proper grade and slope in accordance with project specifications and plans. Perform trench excavation, backfilling, and compaction to prepare sites for pipe installation. Use hand tools and small equipment to cut, fit, and connect piping materials. Inspect completed pipe installations to ensure proper alignment, sealing, and functionality. Equipment Operation Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and trenching equipment under supervision. Use compaction equipment, pipe lasers, and other construction tools safely and effectively. Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors. Site Preparation and Support Assist with trench shoring, bedding placement, and installation of pipe supports. Clear and prepare job sites for pipe installation activities.
