**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ **InTouch Center & Front Line Support**
+ Provide after-hours on-call telephone support and direct escalation support to Customer Engineers and Customer Solution Specialists (CSS). Mentor CSS to improve call resolution and author product knowledge articles to increase effectiveness. Establish and monitor procedures to maintain the integrity and quality of the Service problem/solution database.
+ Partner with Service field leadership to identify, escalate, and resolve customer issues through the Alert process. Recommend corrective actions based on product expertise, provide on-site support when required, and develop escalation pathways to CMSC (Japan) and Canon Medical Research (CMRU). + **InnerVision Development**
+ Define future functional and feature needs for InnerVision based on field experience. Assist with testing, deployment, and optimization of upgrades and enhancements. Develop and refine internal processes using Best Practice principles to support daily operational needs.
+ **CMSC & NPI Support**
+ Differentiate product issues from routine service issues and investigate root causes. Serve as a technical liaison between Front Line teams and CMSC to identify, quantify, and resolve ongoing product concerns. Provide technical expertise to the CMSU Business Unit during NPI activities.
+ **Training Academy Support**
+ Contribute technical knowledge to the development of training curriculum aligned with evolving business needs. Support instructional delivery, lab oversight, and competency assessments as required.
+ **Overall Service & Business Performance**
+ Analyze InTouch cases to identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes across processes, hardware, software, and logistics. Develop and promote standardized troubleshooting methodologies, technical bulletins, and best practices that improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs. Establish measurement systems, influence service information systems, and provide financial impact analysis to support profitability-driven corrective actions.
+ **Customer & Internal Technical Support**
+ Work directly with eligible external customers to remotely troubleshoot and resolve product issues via phone and remote tools. Collaborate with Clinical Support teams to analyze complex issues, monitor service alerts from installed systems, escalate issues as needed, and generate knowledge articles in accordance with established P&P.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Principal Air Vehicle System Test Conductor- Engineering Field Service Representative (FSR)** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation (T&E) organization.
This position requires 6+ months of training on a Domestic Assignment to **Pax River, MD and Rancho Bernardo, CA.** After training is completed, it is expected that the candidate will be available to deploy to **Japan, Italy, United Arab Emirates, or Guam** for a minimum of **24 months** , based on current business needs. The international location will be selected by Northrop Grumman after training is completed and will be based on timing and available location(s), determined by business needs. Deployment benefits will be communicated once a location is selected. If no immediate international or Guam deployment location is available, the candidate may be relocated to work at one of our core U.S. locations for the immediate future.
The FSR will be embedded with a US Navy unit and be the system subject matter expert, providing training on the system hardware and software, as well as supporting the sailors in the unit with system operations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. The Navy's intent is for sailors to be the primary operators and maintainers of the system, with the FSR providing training/assistance as needed to keep the system fully mission capable. **Principal Test Conductor responsibilities include:**
+ Interfacing with NGC and customer Flight Engineers, aircraft maintenance Technicians, US Navy service members, and Subsystem SMEs in order to sustain operations.
+ Primary interface between maintenance, design and flight test engineering.
+ Vehicle and Payload Test Controller (VTC/PTC) operations during aircraft start-up/shut down for launch and recovery, conduct static ground tests, and troubleshooting.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Responsible for providing inputs to update Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMS).
+ Reviews/provides inputs during engineering development and executes Detailed Test Requirements, Acceptance Test Procedures, and Ground Test Plans.

Our Distinguished Engineer team drives architecture and technical direction for Splunk's $3.5B platform, ingesting petabytes of data for over 95% of the Fortune 100. As a tight-knit group of DEs reporting to the VP of Architecture, we operate autonomously while coordinating closely on practical, durable solutions that evolve the platform for future requirements. Each DE owns cross-organizational domains that shift fluidly as needs arise. **Impact:**
Architect and operationalize Spark at scale as a core component of Cisco Data Fabric, enabling customers to access and analyze exponentially more data across diverse organizational sources. Build resilient, always-on infrastructure with automatic retry logic, fault tolerance, and seamless integration across myriad data sources and formats including Parquet, Iceberg, and modern table formats. Design the operational backbone-monitoring, observability, error handling, and horizontal scalability-that enables hundreds of engineers to build features confidently on solid foundations. Establish architectural patterns and support mechanisms that ensure high availability while maintaining performance at petabyte scale. Success is measured by customer adoption of data fabric capabilities and operational reliability metrics-uptime, ingestion performance, and incident reduction-that directly impact customer value.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 15+ years of related experience; or Master's with 12+ years; or PhD with 8+ years or equivalent experience
+ Designed and deployed production Spark deployments at scale in cloud environments
+ Experience with modern data formats including Parquet, Iceberg, and related table/columnar formats
+ Production experience with AWS cloud platform
+ Led technical decisions and architectural direction across engineering organizations of 50+ engineers
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Production experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms
+ Experience integrating with diverse data platforms such as Snowflake, Pinot, Databricks, Trino, or similar systems
+ Extensive Kubernetes experience in production environments
+ Proven track record mentoring and growing engineers, with strong collaboration skills across sponsors, design, product management, and engineering teams

The starting salary range posted for this position is $267,600.00 to $339,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.
U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.
U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:
+ 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
+ 1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
+ Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
+ Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
+ 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
+ Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
+ Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
+ .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
+ 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
+ 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
+ Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

New York City Metro Area:
$273,200.00 - $442,600.00
Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:
$267,600.00 - $390,300.00
* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.
** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
