Understanding of block, file, and object-based storage as well as their appropriate use cases. Familiarity with virtualization, VMFS, vVols, specifically VMware VCenter/vSphere/vSAN as it pertains to thin provisioning storage and data reduction techniques. Experience with any of the following is a plus: Cohesity, Pure Storage FlashArray or FlashBlade, DellEMC, object protocols (S3), Dell Compellent, Western Digital Intelliflash, NetApp, EMC VNX, Isilon, Hitachi Arrays and Hitachi Command Suite.
