We are seeking a Senior Tableau Developer. This position requires an experienced professional to contribute to the development of our self-service Big Data Platform. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. The RoleDesign and Develop Advance Tableau reports with the right UX and KPIsDesign, develop and automate self-service, scalable analytical solutions with TableauETL Development using SQL, Python, Airflow, or Similar tools Working with development teams to ensure that new features or integrations are compatible with existing infrastructure Performing regular maintenance on workstations to ensure optimal performance Establish and maintain the analytics practice, which includes defining Tableau governance processes, policies, and guidelines Define roles and responsibilities for managing the organization's data in compliance with business and/or regulatory requirements Data normalization/de-normalization, data analysis, and creating dashboards with optimum performance in a big data environment using Presto and RedshiftData modeling and management, creating DDL, creating UDFs with Python and SQL Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions. Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc., to drive key business decisions. Deliver near-real-time and non-near-real-time data and applications to a team of analysts and data scientists who create insights and analytics applications for our stakeholders. Participate in data strategy and road map exercises, business intelligence/data warehouse product selection, design, and implementation
Qualifications5+ years of work experience with enterprise reporting tools, Specifically Tableau Experience in ETL, data modeling, and business intelligence big data architectures. Knowledge of Tableau APIs in support of developing administration-related tools and operations In-depth experience with the design & development of Workbook Dashboards and Data Sources through Tableau DesktopHands-on Experience with Tableau Architecture for TableauProficient knowledge of Tableau Server platform and server-side functionalities Experience in Tableau Administration, including Install and upgrading in a distributed enterprise environment Proficient in SQL and Python scripting Experience with Scheduling and orchestration tools such as Airflow Familiarity with AWS solutions such as S3 and Redshift

Description:

Sr Tableau Developer

The Sr Tableau Report Developer to manage the lifecycle of Tableau analytics dashboards, including business requirements gathering, functional specification write-ups, prototyping, development, quality testing, user acceptance testing, roll-out and post-launch enhancements implementation. The developer will create powerful dashboards, data source, create action filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. This role will also design and implement processes and standards to aid in report development and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.
• Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
• Fine-tuned SQL Queries for maximum efficiency and performance.
• Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
• Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
• Creating visualizations for the data extracted with the help of Tableau
• Managing Tableau Server and Administration on Linux Server including Tableau server upgrade/installation.
• Finding the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise BI development
• 7 years of hand on experience with Tableau
• Experience in relational databases Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB experience in managing unstructured data
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Strong Analytical and communication skills

• Analytics using Big Data is a plus
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with TabPy and Data Management Addon is Plus.

Reporting, Data and Analytics Manager is a member of the Enterprise Independent Testing Central Operations, Reporting & Workforce Effectiveness team.
Responsibilities include:

* Working with teammates and leaders across EIT and in technology to better understand the business requirements, make recommendations and build out new dynamic dashboards in Tableau. Views will include results, analytics and other business intelligence to identify process and performance opportunities across the business

* Partnering with enterprise teams including Global Technology and Operations (GT&O), FLU and GCOR Test Owners to understand the scope and complexity of the tests and reporting needs to design, build and implement as well as consume required data to establish the appropriate granularity, frequency and analytics required to meet reporting needs in a self-service and dynamic reporting environment that leverages both a centralized data repository (SDAR) and dashboard tools that provide access to the test owner results and related data via Tableau

* Serving in a lead capacity by mentoring, training and developing a group of junior Tableau developers

* Development of dynamic dashboards while ensuring consistent quality of activities, processes and outputs by establishing effective quality assurance practices across teams. The Reporting, Data & Analytics Manager will also oversee project progress, resolve road blocks and provide project status update to leadership team
