Job Location
The candidate selected for this opportunity must reside near one of the following locations:
Hybrid (in-office 3 days per week)

Overhaul our education program to prioritize embedded, contextual product guidance over static content - replace traditional training models with just-in-time, in-app learning and personalized content delivery.
Expand self-service capabilities to reduce 1:1 support volume - e.g., searchable knowledge bases, diagnostic tooling, and AI-assisted troubleshooting.
Define the future of Professional Services by moving beyond standard implementation delivery to flexible, templatized, and AI-augmented frameworks.
Continuously uplevel team members to be strategic and consultative customer partners, while automating and productizing lower-level transactional tasks.
Operational Excellence & Customer Impact Responsibilities
Regularly engage with customers, beyond escalation management, to form long-term relationships with key stakeholders, understand their perspectives, and serve as an internal voice of the customer.
Surface recurring product gaps and usage friction through frontline insights and partner with Product & Eng to influence roadmap priorities.
Establish, monitor, and continuously evolve KPIs aligned to digital adoption, reduced ticket volume, faster implementation times, improved NPS, and tangible customer value realization.
Instill a culture of curiosity, ownership, and customer obsession across all Technical Services teams - foster the culture of experimentation and innovation.
Requirements
Prior director, seniordirector, or VP-level experience in post-sales functions (Professional Services, Customer Education, Technical Support, or analogous technical/strategy roles), Product leadership, or Strategy Roles within high-growth SaaS or product-led organizations.
Demonstrated history of innovation, creative problem-solving, or executing transformational change, not just incremental improvement, within customer-facing teams or digital product functions
Comfort with ambiguity and “blank sheet” problem solving; entrepreneurial drive; strong internal pitch/advocacy skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in digital transformation, product management, design thinking facilitation, or leading AI- or automation-forward initiatives.
Skills & Behaviors
Visionary leadership: able to articulate and drive a radical new model for customer enablement and serve as a north star for the team and company.

Director, Technology
Grns
Remote job
We're so happy you're here! Thank you for checking our job out and we hope to have the chance to meet you in our interview process!
About the role
We're hiring a Director, Technology to own the systems that power Grüns end-to-end. Everything from order creation to fulfillment, invoicing, returns, and reporting across DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Retail. This role is not about writing code. It's about owning how our systems work together, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability as we grow.
You'll serve as the centralized hub for Grüns technology stack, owning system configuration, cross-platform workflows, incident management, and partner integrations. Your work will directly protect customer experience, revenue integrity, and operational efficiency by eliminating broken flows, tribal knowledge, and reactive firefighting.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a quarterly basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
Own system administration and configuration
Manage permissions, roles, workflows, and system logic across Grüns' core platforms.
Maintain SKU and item master integrity to ensure clean data across all systems.
Act as the source of truth for “how our systems are set up and why.”
Own cross-system order flows
Define and own what
should
happen across the full order lifecycle:
Order creation → ERP→ fulfillment → invoicing → returns/adjustments.
Ensure flows are clearly defined and reliable across DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Retail.
Identify and remove risks that impact customer experience or financial accuracy.
Lead issue triage and incident management
Proactively monitor systems to catch issues before they escalate.
Own incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term fixes.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues quickly and permanently.
Manage vendors and technology partners
Own relationships with key partners including Fulfil, Crstl, Alloy, and EDI providers.
Lead EDI onboarding and retailer integrations with standardized, repeatable processes.
Manage tickets, escalations, and implementation timelines to completion.
Build documentation and operational clarity
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and training materials for system workflows.
Document “how we do X” so systems knowledge is institutionalized, not person-dependent.
Enable teams to operate confidently within systems without constant ad-hoc support.
We're looking for someone who:
5+ years in a technology or systems leadership role owning backend platforms.
Proven experience in a DTC and/or Retail environment.
Has operated in fast-growing companies where systems maturity needed to scale quickly.
Familiarity with data concepts such as SQL, reporting pipelines, and self-service analytics (nice to have).
Comfortable navigating complex integrations without relying on engineering teams.
Experienced working closely with Operations, Finance, CX, Growth, and IT.
Able to translate technical constraints into business-friendly decisions.
Trusted partner who brings clarity, not confusion.
Moves quickly and iteratively in agile environments.
Takes full ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.
Balances speed with thoughtfulness and continuous improvement.
Manages multiple priorities without losing system integrity.
Approach to the role
Owns systems end-to-end: Takes full responsibility for how systems are configured, connected, and operated. Not in just how they work in isolation, but how they function together across the business.
Thinks in workflows, not tools: Focuses on defining the “right” order of operations across systems (order → fulfillment → invoicing → returns) and ensures each platform supports that flow cleanly.
Proactive, not reactive: Anticipates issues before they impact customers or revenue, monitors for risk, and builds safeguards rather than relying on fire drills.
Clarity obsessed: Documents decisions, workflows, and exceptions so knowledge lives in systems and SOPs, not in someone's head.
Business-first technologist: Balances technical best practices with real business needs, making pragmatic decisions that support speed, accuracy, and scale.
Calm under pressure: Handles incidents and escalations with structure, transparency, and urgency, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
Builder mindset: Continuously improves how systems are used, identifying untapped functionality and driving incremental gains over time.
To Apply: Please enter your info and share a bit about yourself with us below. We ask that you do not use Chat GPT or similar tools to answer these questions, as it is our hope to genuinely get to know you and the way you communicate and think! We do love integrating these tools into our work though, and you'll hear plenty more about that if you join us.
At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package-grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is between $150,000-$190,000 depending on experience.
Beyond base salary, we offer competitive equity packages and a comprehensive set of benefits designed to support the well-being, growth, and balance of our team.
A bit about us...
At Grüns, we believe that foundational nutrition should be simple and convenient for everyone. We're dedicated to bringing comprehensive and real nutrition to you through our gummies, formulated from 60 nutrient-dense and whole-food ingredients. Simply enjoy a grab-and-go snack pack of gummies daily whenever fits best in your schedule and wherever life takes you.
Like you, we were disappointed. There's an infinite number of “nutrition” companies, all focused on what's best for them - not what's best for you. Hundreds of products to sell you on, low-quality ingredients, and small nutrient doses. We've seen it all.
So we decided it was time to fix it. No more choking on and popping pills like a pharmacy. No more clean-up and disgust from gross powders. And no more cobbling together handfuls to dozens of supplements. Grüns is comprehensive nutrition, made convenient and delicious.
What we care about...
Autonomy: Only the best work at Grüns. We're all confident, independent leaders. We are proactive. We find opportunities for improvement. Don't ask; just do. When our actions impact other areas of the organization, we communicate with those functional leaders to ensure connectivity.
Growth: We love to take on new challenges, learn new things, and express interest in new functions. “I've never done this before” is not an excuse; it's an opportunity.
Community: We care deeply about each other. We're good humans and provide support wherever we can. We care, not just professionally but personally as well.
Compensation & Perks:
For every role, we aim to have highly competitive compensation and opportunity for impact and career growth.
Everyone at Grüns works hard, but we believe in wellness and balance too. We have super strong benefits coverage -- for you and your family, generous PTO, free Grüns subscriptions, and a few more perks centered around health and well-being that we can't wait to tell you about!
